Hotel Conde

Good service, friendly and accommodating. Old but charming furniture. Clean. Quiet. Functional. Good food. We had a pleasant night. Comfortable bed. The restaurant menu is very varied and the service is fast. In short: good place.

It's a long story so you can get all the details. My partner, our 3-year-old son and I arrived on a Saturday at 8:30 p.m. We didn't like the fact that to get to the hotel you have to go through the bar and then walk past the dining room, where everyone sees/sees you. But we were very tired. The room was fine. I went into the bathroom and found some ***** hair on the floor. But we were very tired. The shower (as you can see in the photos) had the metal part of the hose broken, but water also came out of the handles when you turned it on. Also, the roughness of the towels is something out of the ordinary. On the other hand, the duvet on one of the beds had a strange brown stain. But I just wanted to shower, have dinner and go to sleep, so we showered and went down to the restaurant. There weren't many people, but we sat down before ten and they didn't bring us our food at eleven. We didn't leave because there was nothing nearby to eat and at that time with a 3-year-old child... I ordered fish which (as you can see in the photos) was raw. As it was late, I showed it to the waiter and told him not to bring me anything, that I would eat the Milanese I had ordered for my son (which was also undercooked, as you can see in the photo). The guy told me not to worry, that he was going to show the fish to his boss, who was in the kitchen. When we finished, the boss came to collect and we had to pay for the fish that I almost didn't eat. We went up to the room angry, but very tired. I just wanted to sleep, really. When I pulled back the duvet with the stain, it turned out that it was on the mattress cover. It was almost twelve o'clock and we were tired and with a 3-year-old child already hysterical at that time, so I turned everything over and that's how we slept. Well, sleeping is a bit of a stretch because people came and went making a lot of noise and when someone showered or went to the toilet you could hear all the pipes in the establishment. If you have read this far and are still thinking about booking this hotel, DON'T DO IT. In short, it was horrible.
