Sunnyside is a gorgeous older property right on the lake. The room was comfortable, the shower fantastic (awesome water pressure), and the views spectacular.

Cleanliness was good, but upkeep of the premises is concerning. Roof needs cleaning of debris, flashings are missing, broken items are stashed at the side of the building and can be seen from some tables, covers on electrical mechanisms are missing, carpet is old and dirty in entrance area, etc. Going out of business soon? It would be a shame as it is a lovely place. Owners need to spruce it up.

We will be back Went for our anniversary. It was a beautiful property on the water. The only downfall is we didn’t have a designated parking spot for lodge guest. Due to lack of parking had to park down the road and walk.

Beautiful View Beautiful view right on the water. The room was clean and inviting. The bathroom was nice and had space to put our toiletries. I did wish they had a vanity mirror with better light for doing makeup. Water pressure in the shower was not great, I’m glad I didn’t need to wash my hair. The beds were ok, but it could be time for new ones or maybe they were just too firm for us both. I’m not sure if it was where our room was but we could hear every foot step up and down the hallway and door slam. It seemed like thin walls and just an older building where you can hear your neighbors shower schedule. We did not get a chance to having dinner as they are only open at 4pm, definitely missed out on this. Nice selection of complimentary breakfast and coffee/tea. They also had a great little espresso maker in the room. They were very nice at check in and offered us some sparking wine for the birthday we were celebrating. Friendly and easy check in and out.
