The hotel was comfortable for us, despite not being to use the bathtub (dry season). It was quiet and right next to the trail to the mountain. The staff was friendly and super helpful. She tried to accommodate our needs.

The location is good: just next to the bus station and the cable cars. We love the heated floor particularly during the night. The courtyard setting and the surrounding forest are quite soothing.

Choose this hotel to climb the section from Zhongtianmen to Nantianmen in the afternoon. Go to Nantianmen before 5:30 and take the ropeway down. There is basically no need to queue. We took the ropeway to the top at 6:30 the next morning, avoiding the crowds who climbed at night and climbed to the top during the day. A two-hour trip from the top to the descent. On this trip to Mount Tai, not only did I climb the mountain, I was not tired at all.
