I recently stayed at a hotel in Taichung that perfectly bridges the old and new parts of the city. Its location is a significant advantage, as most tourist spots are just a 15-minute drive away, making it easy to explore the area's rich culture and attractions.
The room I booked was surprisingly spacious for the price, featuring a comfortable layout and a nice bathtub, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. However, I did find one aspect a bit lacking: while I appreciate the hotel's commitment to minimizing disposable products, the absence of soap in the bathroom felt excessive. A simple bar of soap would have made the experience more comfortable.
Overall, I would definitely consider revisiting this hotel. The combination of a convenient location and reasonable pricing makes it a solid choice for anyone looking to explore Taichung.ecial at the same time

Traditional hotel with renovation, but still using traditional metal key to open room door, security becomes our concern.

Basically a 3 star hotel or worse. It is super old. The exercise room is unavailable.

In general the cleanliness of the room can be improved. We see dust on the table and on the lamp. Breakfast was not really at standard, the bacon was poorly made !
