Taichung Nantun District Hotels

Location - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha). So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market. It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it. Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it. I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient. The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad. I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby. I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again. (Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card) The late check out costs Ntd$1,000/hour

Good location. Decent breakfast. Clean And spacious rooms. However, they did not provide hand soap in the bathroom. I asked the hotel staff and they said it will cost money to buy a bar of soap. I ended up using the body wash from the shower to wash my ends. This was kind of ridiculous. I have stayed in other hotels in Taiwan and they provide a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom.

By far the largest hotel room at this price that you can get ! The room is about 2-3 times the size that of a standard twin hotel room. There is a huge jacuzzi able to fit two person at once. Room is also facilitated with Music system that aids with sleeping soothingly. There is a 24hr convenience store located right below the hotel, so you can always get your late night fix just in case. It is recommended to have your own rental car if you choose to stay at this hotel as it is quite a distance to the bus stop or local train metro. Otherwise, it is conveniently located 5 mins drive away from the express way so you don't have to worry about peak hour jams within the city.

The style is unique, but it is a motel after all, and the shower head is loose 🤣 However, if you are a couple traveling together, this is definitely one of the top three choices. After all, it has good sound insulation and is full of erotic equipment.

The customer service staff are very friendly and explain clearly! But maybe due to business reasons, the interior of the room feels dark, and the corners are obviously old and dusty, which makes it feel a little worse! But the air conditioner can be very cold and the contents of the toiletry bag in the bathroom have a high CP value. The bed is two singles combined, which is quite large, but there is a line in the middle For breakfast, I think it's okay. There are porridge, side dishes, rice, and lettuce salad. But my husband and I only ate at McDonald's the night before. We both felt stomach discomfort after breakfast the next day and also had diarrhea, so we didn't dare to eat it the next day! So I’m not sure about the situation there~

It’s definitely for young adults, not a comfy, elegant hotel if that’s what you’re looking for. I stayed there with a friend so that’s alright for a 2 night, price wise. Had to grab Uber everywhere we go, there’s a karaoke place next door, haven’t tried it though.

Location is very good with many restaurants around. Free Parking is available next block just 5 min away. There's a supermarket Carrefour and many restaurants around. Family Mart is just across the street. Theres a public bus G1 that brings you to and fro Taichung HSR Station. Breakfast is good especially their coffee and yoghurt are very yummy. Front desk staff are helpful and attentive. The only thing that could be improved is probably the toilet to have racks for hanging towels and clothes. (Theres only one small hook in the entire bathroom)

1~ The space in the room is larger than that of ordinary hotels, and there is no sense of oppression. There are desks, sofas, living room tables, and spare parts are also available. At night, you can hear faint singing from the KTV next door 2~ The bathroom space is also large and the design sense is good. The bathtub can soak 2 people. The design of the toilet is a bit high, and it is not very smooth to sit. 3~ Although there are some small flaws in the cleanliness, considering the large space and time-consuming finishing, overall it is acceptable 4~Breakfast is self-service. Chinese breakfast is mainly small but quite satisfactory. If you like to eat Western style, the amount may be too small 5~ The attitude of the waiter is above average
