Taichung Wuri District Hotels

The reviews on Google Maps are mixed, but the Wuri Pu Hotel, which will only open in 2024, still attracts people to visit. I sent an email the day before to ask what time I expected to arrive at the hotel. Of course, I asked this because I wanted to arrive early so that I could have plenty of time to use the public hot spring facilities. The hotel only replied that the facilities could be used after 2 pm. I felt like I was asking in vain. No response to the question afterwards At about 1:50 that day, there was only one person serving in the hall. He moved very slowly and just kept typing on the keyboard after saying ”wait a moment”. It seemed like he was not familiar with the procedure. It took about 5 minutes to finish. Then I went up to the 2nd floor to use the women's hot spring. There was no counter staff there. I waited for 5 minutes and then went down to the 1st floor to ask. Then someone came up to the 2nd floor to give me the locker magnetic buckle and bath towel. The environment is very new and clean. Free Taiwan beer is provided. Bottled water is provided in the hot spring. The water temperature in the afternoon is 33 degrees, which is quite good. At night the water temperature was 31 degrees Celsius and it felt cold and not hot enough for bathing. After taking a bath, your body will be warm. In the box room facing the floor-to-ceiling windows, there is a paid electric massage chair. It costs 10 yuan for 10 minutes. It is very comfortable and chilling to use after taking a bath. The room was also very clean, with a separate bidet for wet and dry areas, and the bed was quite clean and tidy. There was a capsule coffee machine and tea bags in the snack bag that you could take away. Breakfast is served in three time periods: 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00. The dining environment is also clean in Japanese MUJI style. The meals are rich and varied, and the refills are fast. However, the collection of plates is very slow. Sometimes the entire table is filled but no service staff comes to collect them, which reduces the clean dining atmosphere. After checking out at 11 o'clock, you can leave your luggage in the lobby with a luggage card to collect your luggage. You can go to the women's bath on the 2nd floor to enjoy the relaxation before going home. The overall hotel hardware and software experience and breakfast are very good The only thing is that the staff configuration and professional training can be improved, so as not to waste the good reputation of this hotel chain system.

It was a nice touch that hand soap was provided in the room. The room's amenities were quite basic, and the balcony felt a bit superfluous. Laundry facilities are available on the ground floor; washing is complimentary, but drying costs 30 yuan for 30 minutes. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the MRT station, which feels a bit far. On the plus side, it's conveniently located right next to a McDonald's and a 7-Eleven, which was very handy.

The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the tourist attraction Wanggaoliao, where you can enjoy the night view of Taichung, and only about a 7-minute drive from Rainbow Village. The hotel has convenient parking, friendly service staff, clean hotel, large hot spring pool in the room, and diverse breakfast. It is recommended to stay here for tourism.

We checked in at midnight and found two small cockroaches in the room and opened the sheets and found someone else's human hair. We immediately asked the evening service staff to check and quickly handle our response. They also immediately provided a room change service. The overall experience was good and the crisis was handled very quickly. . I believe this room is just a case, and this problem will no longer occur when changing to a new room. I will give five stars to this. Although the room faces the main road, the soundproofing is very good.

The hotel is very easy to find on the main road, but the check-in is slower, the service staff is polite, takes the initiative to help the guests, the environment is spacious and comfortable, and the next day will remind the guests of the time half an hour early.

The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary. It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it. To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor. During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

There was a promotion during our period of stay, however, the front desk did not give us the gift during our check in. Only when we saw the promotion flyer in our room and went down to ask the front desk then they gave us the free gift. Other than the above, the hotel is great! The toilet on the second floor is very clean. My kids love the playground and the slide. Can see that the curtain and window were well maintained and cleaned. The switches are clean too! Small details are very well taken care of. It is also very near Taichung station. Will choose this hotel again!

The interior decoration of the hostel is modern with a pleasant Nordic vibe. The public area offers an excellent view of the Taichung station, providing a relaxed atmosphere - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The room, including the shared bathroom, is very clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the travel logs inside the room document the experiences of previous guests, which was a delightful and enriching read. The only issue I encountered was that the air conditioning inside the room wasn't cool enough, which posed a challenge during hot September nights.
