I asked at the counter when checking in.”
If possible, can I choose a room with windows?”
The lady at the counter replied coldly: We can't choose the room type.
Then they told me the room number, but the staff gave me the wrong key, so I had to change it.
When I entered the room, I could feel the old carpet, the peeling wallpaper on the wall, the very cold air conditioner, and the inability to adjust the temperature.

Pros: Cheap! Free washing machine and dryer. Staff were pretty good. Location was great. TV is room. Spacious.
Cons: The whole place is old and tired.
Very adequate - you get what you pay for.

Location is a bit far from the train station, approx 15-20 min walk.

Very nice hotel located in Tainan. Very central, close to all the places by walking. Hotel safe and receptionnists are very professional. Room is ok, but very cheap for the area.

Hotel and building was a little dated. Our room was overly basic in a state or repair. There was a terrible mould smell in the room which we did not like. The bathroom was nice and clean though. The location was pretty good too. Not too far from the station, close to the night market, and close to subways and bus routes. Definitely wouldn’t stay again and would look at paying a little more for a nicer hotel.
