Family-friendly Hotels in Taiyuan

Shanxi Hotel must be given a five-star rating. We arrived very late at night, and the hotel was already lit. The courtyard was ancient and the hotel lobby was magnificent. The service staff checked in very efficiently and quickly, and the service attitude was very excellent. The breakfast and Chinese buffet was very high-end, and the food and drink met the tastes of all parts of the north and south. It is very close to various attractions. We strolled to the bell tower. On one side of the hotel, you can enter Wenying Park, where you can see the scene of Shanxi people exercising and relaxing. The hotel helped to take the luggage to the car after checking out, and the service was thoughtful. The important point is that we lived on the second floor and it was very quiet, without any noisy sounds, and the sound insulation was very good. The shower was a little smaller, but you can call the front desk. It was too cold. It rained on the day we came, and we didn’t pay much attention to bathing, so we just took a shower. Satisfied, and will tell friends who come to Taiyuan to choose Shanxi Hotel first.

This is the best and value for money hotel I stayed in last 12 days trip from Beijing, Datong, Taiyuan, Pingyao, Xian. The room is nice, breakfast is good, hotel room even provide you with a washing machine in tge room with detergent free. Highly recommended and great for longer stay. Cheers

I was very satisfied with the parent-child room I stayed in. 👍That night, Sister Ding Ding provided very thoughtful service and gave gifts to the dolls, which was very considerate. The breakfast was very complete, with pasta and bread, which you can also take back to the room to eat

Now when I go out, I prefer Hilton Hampton, which has quality and acceptable price. It has children's slippers and toothbrushes for convenience. The breakfast is also of high standard, combining Chinese and Western with local characteristics, and there are many choices. This hotel has convenient transportation and free parking. It is not far from Taiyuan Station and various attractions in the city. The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is very comfortable. Xiaoxiang and Xiaolin at the front desk are also very service-conscious and upgraded the room type👍

The room rate is affordable, the environment is beautiful, the room is very clean, and the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. The hotel front desk is very enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. They took the initiative to upgrade us to a larger room. We were very satisfied with our stay and it is worth recommending. The restaurant is also very good and the food is very rich.

The hotel was famous and adjacent to a tourist attraction. The service was nice, except for a young male driver (for the commuting car that connected the hotel's buildings and the tourist attraction's gate), who seemed a bit reluctant or tired at work and lacked communication skills or etiquette (since the hotel claimed itself to be a five star hotel, it is not uncommon for guests to have higher expectations than elsewhere). It is said that the hotel was built in the 1950s. Thus, it was not surprising that many facilities seemed relatively old, especially when compared with newer hotels. Overall, the hotel could be a good choice.

During the Spring Festival, I compared several hotels in Taiyuan and finally chose Bingzhou Hotel. First, it is conveniently located in the city center, second, it has a long history and stable service quality, and third, it is said that the breakfast is good. After staying for a few days, I felt that it was completely in line with my expectations, and even exceeded my expectations in terms of service details, service initiative of the staff, and quality of the food! The hotel is in the middle of Yingze Street, directly opposite the May Day Square. There are many buses downstairs, and online taxis are also easy to get. I hope to visit again after the opening of Metro Line 1 to experience more convenient travel 😀 The room is cleaned and replenished with supplies every day, sometimes there are fruits, enough drinking water, and a humidifier😊

Almost every time I come to Taiyuan on business, I always choose Garden International Hotel. The overall hygiene makes me feel at ease, the environment is relatively comfortable, and I especially like the hotel's slippers, haha. The waiters are also very enthusiastic. I almost always place orders through Ctrip to get a cheaper price.

The room was very hygienic, clean and tidy. You can see Yingze Lake from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel service was very good, and they sent fruits and hot Tremella soup. It is one of my favorite hotels, but it is a pity that I could not stay in the original room.

The hotel is very close to the commercial street Bell Tower Street, less than 10 minutes' walk away! For those who like to go shopping at night, this hotel has a good location! The price/performance ratio is really high, it’s relatively cheap in this area! The room is generally very clean, and a pack of toiletries, small towels, etc. are provided, which is very thoughtful! There is a century-old brain shop near the hotel. I tried it in the morning and I couldn’t get used to it! But I think you must try the local specialties when you come!
