Staff at the front desk were very kind and welcoming. They let us check in early. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to malls and great restaurants. People in Taiyuan drive everywhere so this hotel was very convenient to jump on the highway or catch a taxi.
Room smelled of smoke even though this was a non-smoking room - it needed a little airing out.

Overall pleased with the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Check-in was polite and quick, although with limited English (which didn’t affect check-in or my stay).
Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. There are some pastries, fluorescent pink breakfast meat, and a lot of wet vegetable in soy-sauce type options.

Perfect location to all the malls and other things you would need, ridiculously easy check-in, all the amenities you could ask for. Definitely will stay again (although the breakfast selection wasn’t to my tastes)

Huanpeng has never disappointed me. The whole hotel smells delicious and refreshing. The breakfast is very rich. I can taste the old Taiyuan flavor without leaving the hotel in the morning.
The fish pond in the lobby is designed to be advanced and creative. I will replicate it if I have the chance.
The front desk is very friendly and has upgraded the service. I originally booked a comfortable room, but I upgraded it to a luxurious room opposite the viaduct. The room opposite is slightly better. The considerate lady gave me earplugs, which is good👍
