I booked a suite at Shanxi Hotel. Oh boy, what a stay!!! The hotel looks like a courtyard. The receptionist and the bellboy were all very cordial. They carried my luggage to the room for free. Our room was in another building so they advised us we could check out without coming back to the reception desk again. Just leave the keys in the room. The room was quite spacious with lots of amenities. I am very surprised they offer in-room laundry detergent and electric cloth dryer for hanging clothes. They consider every aspect of my stay and I would give them 5 out of 5 stars.

The hotel location is within walking distance of the Bell Tower food street and so convenient for us. However the car drop-off point is not nearby and those travelling with heavy luggage must be prepared to walk a distance. We could not try out the breakfast as we had to check out early to go to the airport as our schedule flight was cancelled.

Environment: Although the main entrance is not easy to find, it is bright and the decoration is grand. You can see the details. Facilities: The charging pile is on the ground, and the underground garage needs to change the elevator. Everything else is OK. Hygiene: Regarding hygiene, it is still worth praising. There is no fingerprint in the elevator. There is always a big sister wiping the elevator, which is also very polite. Service: It is worth a manual praise. Free room upgrade, I decided to drive to Taiyuan on the spur of the moment. I casually ordered the hotel ranked first on Ctrip in the car. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that it was a twin bed room. When I upgraded, I could only upgrade to a twin bed. Well, fortunately, the bed is quite big, one person has a 1.35 bed, and the little sister is also very friendly. I recommend a twin bed room. The room is large. There is a must-eat list for breakfast, which is very useful, because there are many categories and I don’t know what to eat. It is definitely friendly to outsiders. I tried all the ones on the list. My mind is really not used to it. The wontons are very delicious. If it weren’t for self-driving, I would also like to try rice wine. Summary: The well-trained team, from the door security to the staff you meet and come into contact with at any time, are very friendly and proactive in greeting. During breakfast, you can also see the young waiters cleaning up in an orderly and timely manner, which is very meticulous. It is within walking distance to Liuxiang, recommended.

The hotel is nice, with good facilities, but a bit oldish. I would rate it a good 4-star hotel by international standards but 5 stars is a bit overrated. Nice stay anyway; all equipments work well.

Souvenirs were given when checking in, making the guests feel very warm. The breakfast is very good, with many varieties, Shanxi specialty meals, and good service. The front desk service is enthusiastic and the procedures are fast. The shortcomings are that there is no toilet in the reception hall on the first floor, which is hard to understand. The beer and fruit plate gift package sent to the room was asked twice, and it was said to be on the fourth floor outside, and it was not found in the end. Since it is free, why not give it to the hotel? The smart toilet and kettle should be posted with instructions for use, and older guests don’t know how to use it. The projection cannot watch live TV, and it is basically paid, and the availability is not high. I called the front desk at 10 o'clock in the evening, but no one answered. I asked the next day, and the front desk said it was impossible. The customer service was also very polite, but I always felt uncomfortable. I hope the hotel can improve the details and upgrade the service to make the guests more satisfied. Overall it is still very good. I hope the hotel will get better and better.

I heard that Yingze Hotel was the city government hotel in the past. It has the style of an old hotel in the past. The waiters were very enthusiastic. They greeted each other with a smile. The location is friendly, there is a bus stop downstairs, it is convenient to go anywhere. It is very close to Taiyuan Station. Go out and walk to the left, then take the underground passage to Taiyuan Station; go out and walk to the right, cross the road, and the airport bus will be at Wuyi Square Station. The room was spacious, bright and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback is that there is a peculiar smell in the bathroom floor drain.
