As one of the few newly opened five-star hotels in Taizhou, Crowne Plaza Taizhou chose to open at the end of 24 years, catching up with the peak tourist season of the Spring Festival in 25 years. The following is a brief evaluation from several aspects including hardware and software.
Geographical location: in the center of Taizhou city center. Located on the top floor of Taizhou Center, the tallest building in Taizhou city. Directly opposite is the MixC. There is also a Porsche Center on one side. You can enjoy the view of Taizhou city from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the hotel lobby.
Hotel hardware: Since it is a newly opened hotel at the end of 24, the equipment must be very new, and the decoration also meets the latest standards and trends of five-star hotels. However, compared with Hotel Indigo, which is also under IHG, Crowne Plaza's overall style is still too business-oriented. In terms of decoration style, it is relatively ”hard”. The hotel lobby is located on the 37th floor and the 38th floor is the executive lounge. But the top floor bar is not open yet.
As for the room facilities, we stayed in the Taizhou Impression Suite this time. The room layout is L-shaped. After entering, there is a rectangular living room with a guest bathroom, which is also the current trend and standard configuration of suites. Turn left to reach the guest rooms. Then there is the main bathroom with a bathtub.
The living room is equipped with a color TV as standard, but as a suite it does not have additional audio equipment, such as a subwoofer. The office area is large, which is a good thing. It also makes people feel that Crowne Plaza is more business-oriented. The freezer mini bar is in the living room, but when we checked in, we found it was locked. We had to tell the front desk before someone would open it, which was incredible. There is almost nothing wrong with the equipment in the bedroom. However, as a suite, it is not equipped with more user-friendly desktop speakers or aromatherapy machines, so there is still room for improvement.
As for the bathroom, there is a long washbasin, but it always feels too narrow and long. The hair dryer is not a Dyson, but a small domestic brand, which is not high-end enough. The sanitary ware is of American standard, and there is still a gap in grade compared with the current mainstream five-star brands such as Kohler, TOTO or the more upscale Villeroy & Boch. The bath amenities are good, they are of Borghese brand. The actual scent and texture are nice too. The toothpaste is Colgate and the toothbrush experience is just so-so. As a standard room it is good enough, but as a suite it would be better if it could be upgraded to a higher level.
The hotel breakfast starts at 7 o'clock. The variety is still rich. There are many types of noodles and they taste pretty good. The juice is not fresh, nor is it pure juice, this needs to be improved. I don't know if it was because of the festival, but the tablecloths were basically put down without being washed, which is not right for a five-star hotel. This must be improved.
Let me also talk about the executive lounge. The environment and decoration are excellent, grand and modern. But the afternoon tea only had two kinds of biscuits and a few nuts, which was better than nothing. The beverage selection is also very limited. As for the afternoon tea time in the executive lounge, it is lacking. At least some cake and fruit should be provided. As for the happy hour during dinner, the drinks are fine. The beer available is Corona, Heineken and Tsingtao, as well as some other foreign liquors. There are enough hot dishes and fruit cakes, and the quality is acceptable, so the Happy Hour is worthy of the standard of the executive lounge. Afternoon tea must be improved.
Finally, let me talk about the room service. Rebecca at the front desk was very nice and handled customer issues promptly and on point, so she deserves praise.
Overall, there are no major problems with the hardware of this Crowne Plaza, but there is still room for improvement in some details.

I came to Taizhou specifically to eat beef new and booked the Holiday Inn Express opposite the Mixc. The room facilities are all good, after all, it is a newly opened hotel. But there was the sound of electric drills and renovations early in the morning, which was quite annoying and disturbed my rest.

The Tiande Lake Hotel has an elegant and quiet environment. It was not upgraded on the first day and the laundry was not dry. After the response on the second day, the big-eyed lady at the front desk immediately upgraded it. The clothes dried faster when the direction changed, and the osmanthus in the garden was also The fragrance floats endlessly. During the process of changing rooms, because we were old, the staff member Chen Yun was very busy, carrying all the heavy boxes and several bags. When we got to the room, he enthusiastically introduced the hotel facilities, recommended delicious and fun places, and spoke fluently about Shanghai. The words made Ala feel very kind. The breakfast is rich, the steamed dumplings are delicious, the buffet dinner also has a lot of fruits, and the Chinese restaurant set menu is very cost-effective. I would like to make a small comment. The hot spring in the hotel is very good, but the quality of the towels is poor and worn out. I hope it can be improved. Overall, I still like the hotel very much, especially the kid Chen Yun who is very kind. We plan to vacation here often in the future.

The hotel front desk service was great... We checked in early and upgraded our room... They also kindly reminded the children to pay attention to the balcony in the room... The surrounding area is not far from the business district... The only regret is that the air conditioner in the room is still in heating mode and the room is a bit stuffy... We slept with the door open, fortunately there were no mosquitoes at night, and it was a little noisy facing the street...

Compared to the old five-star hotels with older decoration, I prefer this new hotel with bright decoration, attention to details, Xiaoai, robot service, TV with screen projection, smart toilet, and considerate sensor lights.

I've been to Taizhou many times and stayed at several Huibinlou hotels. This was my first time staying at this one in Haitang Bay.
First, the good news: the price is affordable and the value is good. The breakfast voucher you get can be used directly for morning tea, and you'll also get a voucher for a bath at the nearby Tiande Pond. The food at the Quyuan Restaurant on the first floor is delicious, and the morning tea is very Taizhou-style.
Now, let's talk about the negatives: the surrounding environment is average, and it's a bit far from the city center. The facilities are dated, the outlet is awkwardly placed directly above the pillow, and the bed really needs a new one.

The room is quite large, spacious and bright. Not bad. The bathroom is also large, that is, the shower floor tiles are too slippery, in case of falling, it is not a joke, although a non-slip mat is equipped, but it is too small. It is recommended to make two pieces, or change the big one. I want to evaluate it when I check in on National Day.

Xiao Li at the front desk of the hotel has a very good service attitude and the room is warm and spacious. The hotel environment is very quiet, the parking lot is very large and safe, and I will come to Yi'an Hotel next time! [strong]

Originally, Ctrip offered to check in four hours in advance, but it was unavailable during the National Day, so that’s understandable. The room is generally good, but what I am not very satisfied with is that I don’t know if there is a problem with the hotel’s ventilation system. The smell of tobacco and alcohol from the banquet downstairs was transmitted to the room (I live on the 17th floor). This is very bad and the room smells bad. It smells like tobacco and alcohol from the hotel!

GGuest UserIt was a particularly good stay. First of all, the room was clean and tidy. Secondly, when I ordered takeout, a small robot delivered it to me so I didn’t have to go down to get it. Finally, I really liked the fish soup wontons for breakfast. Huazhu is a trustworthy brand. I didn't take many photos. Anyway, I was quite comfortable during the two days I stayed here.
