My husband and I are driving a car in Kitakyushu. There are not many hotels in Takachiho. I think this one is good. It is hygienic and there is no problem with transportation. Since we are driving by ourselves, I don’t know what else is going on. Anyway, there is free parking and a private bathroom/toilet. It is very comfortable except for taking a bath. The soundproofing is not very good, but everything else is OK. There is also free breakfast, although there are not many things, which can meet basic needs.

This B&B is located near Takachiho Shrine. As it was originally an inn, the room is spacious enough for one person. I also appreciated the free water and coffee. The staff were very friendly and gave me information about Takachiho and the surrounding area. However, the biggest attraction of this B&B is the view from the room. It was the best place to look out over the Takachiho mountains. The view was so beautiful that I lost track of time. It was a little early for the autumn leaves, but I was still able to enjoy the view that soothed my soul.

I was looking for a place that was convenient for going to Takachiho's Yokagura. It's about a 5-minute walk. There are only 4 rooms, so it may fill up quickly, but it's close to the bus center and convenient to Takachiho Gorge. The room is on the 2nd floor. Accommodations in Takachiho during the autumn leaves season are very expensive, and it was a time when I couldn't afford to travel alone, but I found this inn and applied.
