Fantastic service by counter staff - came down late at night to help us check in, packed a quick delicious breakfast for us at last minute
Room was spacious and spotless - private room onsen was clean and felt good for our skins!
Amenities (lounge and common onsen) were great, well stocked and meaningfully furnished for a comfortable and authentic stay.

The hotel staff didn't really speak English, but were very helpful as much as they could. Free complementary breakfast which we didn't expect. It was delicious, also free coffee and soft drinks during our stay. Time for private onsen can be booked anytime.
Location is not the best, but we didn't mind walking a few minutes to the train station or the old town.
AC/heating was a bit difficult to manage for us as there was no English explanation. It turned off after 2-3 minutes, but finding out how to operate it with Google was fine in the end 😉

Of the three accommodations I visited during my trip to Nagoya, this one was the most soundproof and well-equipped. I booked the last remaining room, so the room was quite small, but the bathroom and toilet were clean, and the bedding was comfortable and cozy. The hot springs can only be used once a day after making a reservation. It wasn't a hot spring like Gero, but it was worth a try. The common lounge was free to use until 11 p.m., so I could have a light snack and sake at night. However, you have to clean up after yourself! It was very difficult to drag my suitcase to and from the station on a snowy day, but... I would like to come back to this accommodation again.

This hotel should be a converted B&B. Traditional Japanese one-family house + hot spring. There is no elevator, and you need to change slippers 3 times to enter the house. It is also a Japanese style experience.

Stayed for two nights in total, in a single-family house, with a good environment, quiet, and convenient travel. You can walk to supermarkets, MUJI and attractions, Takayama Jinya, the ancient town, and various restaurants. JR and bus stations are all within walking distance. The hotel includes breakfast, one day of Chinese style and one day of Western style. The experience is good. You need to change into different slippers for indoor and outdoor when entering and leaving the courtyard.
