Since it is a hot spring town, the smell (sulfur) in the hotel bothered me a little, but I got used to it later. There are many sightseeing spots in Takeo and near the hotel, so I am satisfied.

The hotel will arrange a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Takeo JR Station. When you arrive at Takeo JR Station, just ask the Tourism Info staff to call the hotel to pick you up. No reservation is required in advance. Although the hotel is not very far from the JR station, there is no need to walk if you are dragging your suitcases.

The hotel is located next to the hot spring gate tower. It is said that the emperor stayed here. It is a relatively old Japanese hot spring hotel. There are only six rooms on the fifth floor, and the total number of guest rooms is probably about thirty. We were given a twelve-course kaiseki meal for dinner, which was relatively simple. There was a room on the same floor just for dinner. It was no different from eating in the room. All you had to do was book a time and go there. You didn’t have to go out after a tiring day. Looking for food is quite troublesome as there are hot spring hotels all around. The room is relatively spacious and can accommodate four people. We have one room for one person and another room for two people. Five or six pieces of luggage can be spread out. The room temperature is suitable. There is no bottled water, but there is a thermos kettle for ice water and a kettle for boiling water. , also very convenient. The room has its own toilet and bathroom. The hot spring on the seventh floor is not big, but there are not many people. There are almost no foreign tourists, but there are no towels to bring to the room. Breakfast is a normal Japanese set meal, so there is no problem in filling up. Except for a handsome man at the front desk who spoke very good English, almost none of the staff spoke English. They all relied on simple words and body language. The main supporting services were okay, and no major communication problems were encountered.

Every employee is nice, polite and friendly. After checking in, I planned to go to a nearby restaurant to make a reservation. The front desk employee helped make a reservation, but the restaurant was not open. Then another employee took the initiative to introduce another restaurant and called to make a reservation. There was no place, so he continued to help people find one, and finally found a room. He told me in the restaurant that after we finished eating, he would help us call the car back to the hotel. After finishing the meal, the restaurant's helper called a car and told me that there was no car. Finally, the restaurant called the hotel. The hotel knew my situation and immediately personally picked me up and took me back. Many thanks to them.
