I was able to stay conveniently without any inconvenience in terms of environment, facilities, and amenities. I walked around trying to find a place to eat near the hotel, but I was told that everywhere was fully booked and I couldn't find a place to eat. It must have been difficult at the time. In the end, we drove around looking for a place to eat.

The hotel is located on Kuju Mountain in Kuju Prefecture, which is the mountain across Aso City from Aso Volcano. You must drive, rent a car or take a taxi to get here, and public transportation is very underdeveloped. The scenery is amazing from the moment you enter the mountain! Looking out from the hotel window is a healing green. The hotel service is very enthusiastic. They helped us move our heavy suitcases up and down, and asked us about our dietary taboos and bed arrangements before checking in. The French meal in the evening was very delicious, and they also arranged a window seat with a beautiful view. The starry sky at night is also beautiful and dreamy.

I originally booked this hotel for the convenience of going to Mount Aso, but I didn't realize that the volcano had been closed for some time. This hotel is located in a far outskirts, but the facilities are very good and the environment is beautiful. When we arrived, the owner was very enthusiastic and explained. We didn't understand Japanese, so he translated to us on the phone. The hot spring is in another room, and there were not many guests that night. Our family could enjoy one hot spring room, and everyone was very satisfied. The room is large, with one bed per person and complete facilities. The breakfast the next day was Western-style and very rich. The bakery owner who couldn't finish it packed it for us and took it away. No food was wasted. Very good service.  There is also an astronomical telescope on the grassland. Unfortunately, it was very cloudy that night, so there was no chance to see the stars. No wonder the hotel has ”Galaxy” as its name. I think you can see the Milky Way in the sky when the weather is good. I hope to have the opportunity to come back next time. Fortunately, Mount Aso suddenly opened again after checking out, and we actually saw the volcano!

This hot spring hotel has been the highlight of my entire trip. The rooms and buildings are designed with a strong infusion of Japanese culture, immersing guests in an authentic ambience. The open-air hot springs are truly unforgettable, allowing you to relax while surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. During the night, the starry sky adds an indescribable charm to the experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The culinary experience at this hotel is also exceptional. They offer a selection of local dishes that are both delicate and delicious, providing a true taste of the region's flavours. My only regret is not booking three consecutive nights at this extraordinary hotel. It's truly an oasis of tranquillity and cultural immersion that should not be missed.”

About an hour's drive from the Asu volcano attraction, the authentic Japanese hot spring hotel, most of them are patronized by Japanese. After check-in, each person will distribute a  bath locker locker key , male and female smoked soup. Staff are kind and courteous. Restaurant food is good. There is no bathing place in the room, so you need to take a bath in the public bath in the interior of the hotel. There is a paid private style (with bathing place) and rock salt bath on site, which is worth experiencing. In addition, the room belongs to the form of  tatami mattress, the mattress is very comfortable , not the kind of Bobo mattress . The TV in the room is small , and  has a separate bathroom . Situated in a tiny little town, you have everything you need within walking distance. The service is top notch, the moment we drove into the parking lot, there was this old lady running towards us to welcome us. There is an onsen inside the hotel and you also get free entrance to Lamune Onsen just across from the bridge.
