Sea Change Villas

Have just returned from a fabulous holiday at the glorious Sea Change Villas. We had a 5 night stay in the executive lagoon view with our friends and then 6 nights in the premium lagoon villa. Right from the start of booking our accomodation we felt valued , quick responses to our emails with lots of useful information which continued thru our stay . We were able check in early for our 2nd villa which was so helpful . Both villas had everything we required, great level of cleanliness and comfort in every aspect . The available bikes ( which we didn’t require) , snorkel equipment, SUP, kayaks was awesome . All appearing clean and well looked after . Having a self catering option was great. Our children organised a breakfast platter from Island Platters for our anniversary. This was amazing full of beautiful n fresh food , exceptionally presented . Would not hesitate on returning and we hope we can regularly . Well done to all concerned at Sea Change , it’s no suprise you receive rave reviews so richly deserved.

Our stay at the Sea Change Villas was absolutely fabulous and exceeded our expectations in each and every way. We had previously stayed in an overwater bungalow in Tahiti for our 20th anniversary, but for this trip didn’t quite have the budget for a return trip to Tahiti. Anyway, long story short, we would take a stay at the Sea Change Villas any time over another trip to Tahiti. The service was amazing, everything was well organized. The villa itself was very well stocked and the property very well maintained, (which we know can be difficult in tropical climates). The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to all our wishes, and the information about the island they had provided was super helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home first us.

Stayed here for Christmas with the family. There are many views from the room that one shouldn't miss out so listing all of them. Colorful skies of the dawn. Green mountains. Night stars. Moons reflection on the ocean. A river ( stream rather) joining the ocean. The changing levels of tide was quite amazing to watch, especially when high tide would push lot more water into the fresh water stream. And of course the ocean itself, the best way to view the ocean is from the dining table in the room. Flora and fauna that you can't miss so listing them. Banana trees and papaya trees, if you haven't seen them before; which is the case with most of the kids from cities around the world then you see them all around here. Best way to escape from mosquitos, make friends with Moko the house lizard. My kid was initially scared of Moko but after we came back she is missing him/her, they/them. Colorful butterflies. Waking up to rooster ringtones is the norm. River eel in the fresh stream during low tides. Different types of flowers. There was a flower that was yellow in the day and red in evening, quite amazing to watch it change color. And of course the reef beings are always putting up a show in the water, one needs to just pick up the snorkel and hit the reef. The snorkel equipments provided by the resort were in good condition and we were confident in it. The pool in our room was also well maintained. The resort is maintained by a family and they are very helpful and kind. We also hiked up the needle, visited night market, Saturday market, got a tattoo and went on a turtle tour. Ate at various restaurants around the island. Organically this trip ended up with an emphasis on nature and the locals who take care of it, felt like eco tourism. Hope Raro will stay this way for us to come back one day in future.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Sea Change Villas for 5 days of our Honeymoon in Roratonga! We absolutely LOVED it and will be going back. Everyone who works at the Sea Change Villas was absolutely lovely and helpful, they really made our honeymoon a 5 star experience. The location is great and quick to get to Muri Beach or downtown. The beach is lovely there, we stayed beach side but they keep the beach gear stocked and the walk across the street is so short if you decide to stay non beach front. The villa itself had all the amenities you could need, clean and comfortable! THANK YOU to Stephanie, Marilyn and the rest of the sea change team, you are all AMAZING!

My wife and I booked the beachfront villa for 8 days, and can I say that it was the most relaxing vacay we’ve had. Walks on the beach, peaceful swimming, hearing the waves while you slept was amazing. But I save the best for last. Stephanie truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Every need was met with a smile to boot. So I would strongly encourage anyone contemplating visiting the Cook Islands, you definitely would not regret stay at the Sea Change Villas. If we decide to visit the beautiful island again, there’s only one place we’ll be staying and that’s at the Sea Change Villas

My adult daughter and I spent 8 nights at Sea Change Villas and were very happy with it. Great location, beautiful views, upscale but comfortable accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Recommend future guests rent a car for access to restaurants and grocery stores. (We relied on bus service which was good but not great.). We loved Rarotonga; no cruise ships, no high-end name restaurants or hotels; relaxed island vibe. Overall, 5 stars out of 5.
