Stay in this beautiful resort only if you’re ready to be spoilt by the amazing hospitality of their staff. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t matter as the resort itself has everything you’ll need. We took the all in package. Rooms are luxurious, very clean, very well kept. The resort itself is very well kept, pool, beach, bar, playroom. Very family friendly. Stayed here twice, both during peak (March) and low peak(June), both occasions felt very different, i personally preferred the peak, however one thing that did not change was the hospitality of their amazing staff! A special shout out to Kwan for professionally handling the tantrum of a hungry 35yr old (me). Great selection of food in their restaurants too. And when you need a laugh, Sit@Aon will crack you up. Will always come back.

If you want a first-class hotel holiday, this is the right place! The rooms are large and spacious, coffee, tea and water are refilled in the room every day. There is even a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, as well as the necessary bathroom utensils such as toothbrush, razor, cotton buds, etc. The complex is beautiful and everything is super clean. The pool is wonderful and as an alternative the sea and the beach are right next door. There is a restaurant, gym and massages by the pool/beach. The children are well looked after in the kids club with a changing offer and there are also offers for the older ones. Children from 4 years of age are allowed to stay there alone, otherwise at least one supervisor must stay with them. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly and there is a lot of joking, especially with the children. The only disadvantage for us was the location, only a small supermarket and an ATM in the next hotel are within walking distance. There are alternatives to the delicious hotel food within walking distance across the beach, but if you like a bit of variety and want to stroll around in the evening, you should look for a more central hotel. Otherwise, there are shuttle buses to the nearest market and to the town of Khao Lak for a fee, which takes around 30 minutes. Unfortunately, you cannot book a Grab in this region. There is also an excursion counter and a shuttle bus to the airport, but you can also book them directly on the beach for a little less money.

Checking in on New Year's Eve, the hotel arranged a Chinese New Year buffet, a fireworks show on the beach, and you can watch the Spring Festival Gala in the room, which is very good. Stayed for three nights. There is no need to get up early in the morning. It is very convenient to go to Similan and Surin. The room with direct access to the swimming pool is a favorite of the children. They can jump into the swimming pool at any time. The tomahawk steak at Drift is also great.

We stayed for 3 weeks, in a beach villa, over Chris**as and New Year leaving the 2nd week in January. The villas are older than the rest of the resort, and were built after the 2004 tsunami, however they are well maintained and comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk to the nearest restaurants if people want a change from the hotel one which was competitively priced. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful and seemed to enjoy working there which is a good sign. Many things organised, complementary afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits/cake, cheap shuttle at 6pm to the near village and Khaolak Central. On Boxing day a candle lit remembrance service was held on the beach and the NYE party was very good with lots of different food, music and Thai dancing,very memorable. All the staff were exceptional, putting in hours of work putting up then taking down the stage, lighting and seating for the show as well as totally reorganising the restaurant area. We did not go inside any rooms in the modern hotel area as we like villas however looking in they look comfortable and more modern. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and we hope to stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay at the sands as a family of 3 . Check in was a breeze as we arrived late at night due to a cancelled flight. Room was spacious however I did not like the layout of the room bathroom being very open, bed was comfortable , no issues with cleanliness - however some mosquitoes. Breakfast buffet was ok but very busy chaotic at times , we found it a bit repetitive the food options. Our daughter had the time of life at the pool,slides and playground it kept her busy all day. We enjoyed the swim up bar the cocktails were okay too sugary we enjoyed the happy hours at different bars at the resort we did walk along the beach 2 min walk to hippie fish bar and enjoyed the cocktails there more much better quality I believe happy hr was 6 to 7 there highly recommended good vibe. The gym was well maintained everything you need. We ate dinners at spinach, thenight markets, room service was great as well. We also loved the roti and fried chicken cart . Would only recommend staying here with children not as a couple.

Excellent clean and all in services hotel, so many activities included. Second year here. Especially liked entertainment guy Denny, with excellent touch of the audience. I am sure that will return again soon.

Two rooms were not reserved for adjacent rooms, and the rooms were not adjacent after the change. When checking out, they gave a bill and deducted 8,000 deposit and had to pay 19,000. I didn't know what it was. I told her that the bill was wrong. Ten minutes later, another bill was issued with more than 10,000 less! She didn't say sorry the whole time and felt helpless that she had made a wrong bill! I told her that the new bill was also wrong. She issued another bill saying that there were two bathrobes in each room and we were missing one. I told her that she could check the surveillance and check if my luggage had your bathrobe. I checked in late and they temporarily allocated a room and they didn't check that there was only one bathrobe in the room. Ten minutes later, another bill was issued saying that the price of spa was different from what we said, and we went to confirm and sign the bill again. After another twenty minutes, she finally issued the correct bill, which was 8,000 deposit minus 500 afternoon tea 3,700 dinner spa 1,700 plus tax. I only consumed three items in total. I really don't know if it was so complicated that she had to issue the bill several times? In short, I messed up the bill when checking out and told them it was wrong! She looked like I was messing around and delayed my time to go to the duty-free shop! How could I spend more than 20,000 on three items? And I signed the bill to confirm it, but she didn't apologize and thought I was talking nonsense! I was really surprised that I had to pay 19,000 for check-out. The process was annoying, and the thin girl at the check-out front desk was rubbish!

Magnifico Resort con spiaggia piana di sabbia fine, ideale per chi cerca la pace ed il riposo.Bei Boungalow grandi, un po vecchiotti ma ancora in ottimo stato.Noi eravamo in ottima posizione in prima fila vista mare. Cambio della biancheria,degli ascigumani e dei teli mare ogni giorno(per un tre stelle ottimo e superiore alla norma). 2 bottiglie di acqua ed un bollitore in camera. Colazione adeguata ad un tre stelle, sempre molta frutta fresca a disposizione, forse per gli europei l'angolo dei cereali e frutta secca molto limitato. La maggior parte della clientela nella casa principale è russa mentre nei boungalow ci sono anziani come noi di diverse nazionalità. Prezzo ottimo per un Resort al vecchio stile thailandese ormai introvabili perchè sostituiti da casermoni con piscine serpeggianti, inutili per nuotare. Qui c'è una bella e grande piscina centrale, anche se con poche sdraio e pochissimi ombrelloni, uno dei pochi punti non ottimali. In spiaggia ampia zona per le sdraio e spiaggia kilometrica per chi ama passeggiare sulla battigia.Ristorante con ottimi prezzi, piatti buoni ed abbondanti e scelta variegata. Molto tranquillo e silenzioso tutto il Resort, solo un paio di piccoli bimbi che ogni tanto si sente piangere. Un posto per adulti in cerca di pace in una natura idilliaca. Un po scomodo arrivare al Resort. Bisogna prendere un taxi dall'aeroporto di Phuket fino al pier di Baan poi con una piccola barchetta attraversare il fiume (5 minuti) al prezzo attuale 2025 di 30 Bath a persona ed arrivati sull'isola di Ko Kho Khao se si telefona al Resort vengono a prenderti in 10 minuti altrimenti ci sono dei trasporti privati che chiedono 300Bath per il viaggio (8 kilometri ed una decina di minuti di viaggio. In spiaggia sia a destra che a sinistra ci sonon nelle vicinanze altri ristorantini. Il market lo abbiamo trovato solo all'arrivo al Pier e sulla strada per il Resort ma serve un motorino per arrivarci. Prezzo 2025 del motorino in affitto 300Baht al giorno. Per chi ama i massaggi in spiaggia ogni giorno arrivano le massaggiatrici e lavorano tutto il giorno. In una parola tutto magnifico.
