Comfort and hospitality. The key elements travellers seek. And the Hotel Regent delivers on all counts. I spent a lot of my time trying to work out how a stylish hotel can be inserted into a 700 year old Hanseatic mansion. And with top class finishes. Very few hotels offer such a delight. Our room was most comfortable, bathroom was top class. But most importantly, the hospitality of owner and maître d’hôtel Signore Antonio is superb. The Castello restaurant meals were top class as were the breakfasts. Our appreciation to the chef as well as Shakila from Sri Lanka, who looked after us so well. The hotel is ideally located in the old town, so convenient for sightseeing. We enjoyed a memorable stay and were delighted to have found a haven of warmth and welcome so rarely found in today’s hotels.

Good location in Tallinn Old Town. Beautiful, old building. Customer service is very good, it feels very personal. I had late check-out, I appreciated it a lot. Pool was really small, it did not feel very welcoming or well maintained. There are two cardio machines, which is good. I did not try breakfast, it seemed a bit pricy. The restaurant room though is nicely decorated with really high, pretty ceiling. The room is nice with Tallinn view. Bed side lights were missing and red leather chairs did not match the interior very well. It seems like the personnel is dedicated and the premises have lots of potential, still there are a few things that needs still more attention to the details for a 4 star hotel. This part of Tallinn is central, and quiet location. I would recommend it.

The hotel offers a combination of very friendly and personal service of a family hotel, and the luxury and amenities that the best big hotels have on offer. Conveniently located in the old town, the building is beautifully restored. The restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants outside Italy.

Our family of 4 spent 3 evenings at the Hotel. Our rooms and baths were fabulous, clean, luxurious and spacious. We had dinner two evenings in the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent Italian menu and great service. We also experienced our first Family Sauna which was great fun... I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone traveling for business or pleasure. Very convenient to all locations in old Tallinn. All this said, I also have to say their customer service on all levels goes above and beyond my wildest expectations. I happened to leave a personal item in our room and needed to have it shipped back to me in the US. Antonio our host spent hours figuring out what needed to be done in order to get the shipment made. He is amazing.... and my belonging is now on its way to me via FEDEX.

The Regent Hotel Tallinn was a delightful home in Old Town Tallinn during our visit to this charming town renowned for its extensive medieval architecture. The hotel itself is an 800 year old building painstakingly renovated by its owner and manager Antonio Rosaverde. His vision preserved the unique medieval character of the building but reimagined it as a luxurious home for his guests. During our stay, Antonio and his staff were unfailingly helpful and eager to please. In the hotel, we especially appreciated the very comfortable beds, large windows opening onto a quiet courtyard, and our spacious, sleek and sparkling room and bathroom. Other highlights included complementary use of the hotel’s new sauna and plunge pool, and the on-site gourmet Italian restaurant. Highly and enthusiastically recommend this superb hotel.

I really like sitting in lobbies to have some separateness from my travel partners and this was not available here. There was a bench but just for waiting to be picked up etc. That could be an improvement. The endless supply of Lavazza coffee and bottled water, the in-room refrigerator, the extra chair, arranging a taxi to the ferry made us feel very important as guests. The "loft" room was delightful with a renovated bathroom and coat racks for wet jackets and umbrellas. We did not experience the breakfast as it was not included in our booking and 9:00 is late for us anyhow. It is near to public transit and things outside of Old Town, tram to Kadriorg, Creative City and Seaplane museum. It was quiet and clean so yes, I recommend it.

Superb stay at this hotel. Great location, friendly, helpful and attentive staff and charming and well-appointed rooms. I had a superior room and was very pleased with it. Spacious and lovely views over the old town. Very peaceful. It was one of the highlights of my trip. It’s a beautiful old building and has been sympathetically renovated. Rooms are modern and felt recently refurbished. One small tip would be to take an eye mask as there are no black out curtains which meant the room was quite bright for sleeping! I didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice.
