Upon arrival, I noticed that the lobby was quite crowded with guests. Unfortunately, many were left sitting on the floor, which seemed to indicate that the management's crowd control measures may not have been executed as professionally as expected. Furthermore, during breakfast the next morning, I encountered cleanliness issues. The lift was dirty and there was noticeable litter and an unpleasant odor. Upon entering the restaurant, the quality of breakfast fell below expected standards. The atmosphere seemed dry and the dining area appeared unclean. I ordered an omelet which was not prepared to a professional standard, and it seemed that the kitchen staff may benefit from additional training in this regard. Additionally, I observed staff members using their phones rather than engaging with guests or monitoring the buffet quality, which contributed to a less-than-ideal dining experience. Moreover, noise from ongoing work activities disrupted the atmosphere of the restaurant, which was not communicated to guests beforehand. I believe that focusing on quality hospitality management and enhancing communication with guests about any potential disruptions in the morning could greatly improve the overall guest experience at Unhas Hotel and Convention Makassar.
