Hyatt Place Tampa Airport

the hotel looked great on the internet. My wife and i (senior citizens) and handicapped) arrived late afternoon after driving 4.5 hours. The hotel is being renovated. unable to park in front of the hotel because of construction we had to park in the back near a dumpster. the parking lot was filled with construction debris. the back door led to a makeshift check in desk. I would have left but we were exhausted from our road trip. We checked in and proceeded to the elevator nad construction workers were in and out carrying construction demolition debris in and out of the elevators. We were very disappointed in the mess and decided to stay because we had medical appointment the next morning.. I fell we should have been notified about the major construction when we booked the room which cost $293 for 2 nights.. In the day the construction noise was annoying. . What a mistake staying at this hotel.. This was the worst 2 day hotel stay ever. I feel that i should be compensated with a refund.

Overall that was a very decent stay at hyatt. And the service is acceptable.

Room was clean had plenty of space. Staff was very helpful. Good location to get to walkable restaurants and shopping mall.

The room was clean, the staff was great. In fact, my hat blew away in the parking lot and the staff saved it for me when I thought I had lost it forever. It's safe to say the staff went above and beyond.

Very clean room . They sent an uber at no charge to us to take us to and from the airport . We went to a nice dinner at Long Horn right outside the hotel , across the parking lot . Delicious food and everyone all around very nice

I have been charged twice for a single night stay. Checked in 1/19 and left 1/20. Please credit me $ 214.52

It is a beautiful facility but the good news ends there. We had a double bed room on the 4th flr which had the hardest beds imaginable. So after a bad nights sleep, we were awakened by the sounds of an electric saw going. I wear ear plugs at night and it still woke us early. Complaint to front desk was met with resistance like they didn’t believe us. I asked for a credit of $100 for our poor experience at check out. I was told we would have to wait for it to go up the chain of command. Later in the day they approved the request. I do Not recommend this hotel.

Everything is excellent. We stay here every time we visit our family in Tampa.
