Premier Inn Tamworth Central Hotel

Booked this hotel for a friend's birthday and everything was lovely. The room was clean and warm and the hotel staff was very friendly

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. Central location, Clean rooms and nice staff. Suzanna was great getting us checked in Early. Nothing else to write really but need 200 characters!! Would definitely stay again when visiting friends

Hotel stay was perfect, on arrival Suzanna was great getting us checked in, (we purchased early check in for £15) this was done quickly with a smile, booked tables for dinner and breakfast although we struggled to get the time we wanted as there was no availability.Our room was lovely with a walk in shower and smelt like it had just been cleaned. Dinner was okay (we had purchased a meal deal) Breakfast was tasty with continental as well as the hot breakfast, sausages were amazing. 5 minute walk to the retail park, and 10 minutes down to the snowdome, great location with everything you need nearby.

Booked this hotel as a half term break for the little ones, the hotel was great, the staff were amazing. The location was perfect for Thomas Land. The only downside was the waits for breakfast in the beefeater it was so busy the ques were horrendous, you also need to book a table when you check in.

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming. The heating in our room didn't work and an oil filled radiator had been put in the room. Would've been nice if this had been explained. Was ok, warmed the room. We were in 129 which overlooked the main road and was very noisy. Our meals were in the Beefeater next door. We prebooked a meal deal and was very disappointed. On arrival we were left standing at reception for a good 5 minutes and then taken to a cramped table in the corner by the waiting station, with people constantly coming and going. We asked to move but were told they were full - there were lots of empty tables when we arrived and when we left. We also had to ask for the table to be cleaned. There were several items excluded from the meal deal or requiring additional payment and more items not available. The waitress who served us had no knowledge of available drinks and there was no draught bitter available. From arriving it was over 30 minutes before our drinks arrived at the table. The food, when it arrived, was okay but the main course had obviously been left under a heat lamp. Breakfast the following morning was average, had much better at Premier Inn in the past. There was a member of staff putting toast in the toaster using her hands, which she had just wiped the work surface with and no tongs. Hot breakfast was quite tasteless and none of the cereals were labelled. Thankfully we were only staying one night and because of our disappointment in the restaurant we would not use this hotel again.
