This hotel is perfect for a relaxing one day stay. It’s right beside a sapphire-blue river in the middle of the mountains. The in-room onsen is more than big enough for two people and they also have communal baths. They also offer a free shuttle to the start of a stretch of the Kumano Kodo if you want to hike the next day.

We have missed the dinner on our first night upon our arrival at 8pm as we are being told that the dinner will be last served by 7pm.

A great alternative to the more popular Yunomine Onsen area. I feel it’s quieter here by the riverside, plus you can dip in the river waters which was nice.
The ryokan has its own bus stop by the entrance, the onsen choices were great and the food delicious. I would really recommend this spot

The food and beverages are average for this price. I didn't have enough for dinner. There are few service staff, and they seem to be very busy.
The hygiene is average, the elevator is dirty, and the food delivered to the room was opened by the previous guest...
2300 for one night, two nights, the cost performance is really bad.

Very good experience, although the price is not very friendly, the overall feeling is still worth it, the hotel's soup ♨️ is reserved, and you can walk to the world heritage soup of Tangzhifeng.
