Tangier-Assilah Hotels with Pools

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool, delicious variety of breakfast, overpriced lunch, but be-aware that this hotel is on the outskirts of Tangier, so very far from the centre about 1 hour drive if your lucky with the traffic! also if you don’t have a car then this hotel is not suitable for you, as medina taxis don’t come here, it cost £35 for a vip taxi from the hotel and that’s expensive.

Sorry to say that we do not believe the hotel is up to its 5 star standard. It is a good hotel and the hotel does take care to look after it and make it enjoyable for people staying but if you are expecting 5 star quality it will let you down. In the room, inside the kettle, the coffee cup and the spoon were dirty (these hadn’t had a clean before us arriving), there was an awful sewage smell coming from the drain in the shower so bad that if we didn’t shut the bathroom door ah all times our room smelt revolting (this was room 336) I don’t know if it’s a general thing or just unlucky with the room. It felt like at times staff would favour people who have stayed at the hotel before (regulars) or people who had been staying there for a few days rather than welcoming new people. Finally, to top off our stay here, 5am we needed to leave for the airport, we asked the reception if he would kindly just call us a taxi, he told us this would be a charge of 250 DHR (we already knew this should have been no more than 150), we said no thank you walked into the street and got a taxi for 100 DHR. Very bad

The hotel was very cheap we payed around 35euro. the room was quite big with a bathtub and a nice terrace overlooking the pool. The bellman was extremely nice. Unfortunately the room was dirty, the floor there was dirt on the wall. I called in the afternoon to confirm that the room would be a kind bed. Once we arrived it was twin. We were very tired and it was late, we had to wait that the housekeeping staff come to make à the bed king. He was super nice by the way. Well located hotel, close to the city center and the cornice. Room quite spacious, comfortable bed. Bathroom with shower a little small. We did not have wifi during the whole stay despite our report. The hotel parking lot has very little space and therefore quickly fills up. Very generous breakfast

The location is average, not good or bad. The overall service is very good. The most important problem is the bath water. It is very small and very cold. It is not hot at all. When I stay in October, it will be very cold every time I take a bath. There is no kettle in the room. Others Everything is fine! I went to check out the breakfast in the morning because I was afraid that I wouldn’t be used to it, but I didn’t expect that the breakfast looked pretty good and deserves a thumbs up! spacious apartment at a good price. located in a building with a stylobate, where there is a large supermarket below. convenient location in the middle between the old town and the train station. the room was a bit cold and there were not enough sockets. otherwise everything is ok. spasibo

The sea view room has a great view, you can watch the sunset, the facilities are also good, the breakfast is rich, but I was a little unhappy when I checked out. The hotel charged 20 dirhams in tax when we checked in the day before. We gave the gentleman at the front desk 100 dirhams, but he said he didn't have change and would give it to us later. When we checked out the next day, a female employee took over. We returned the room card to her, and she said, OK, no problem. We asked her about the change, and she said she didn't know. Later, another man said that there was such a thing, so we searched together and found the envelope with the money and the bill. We thought it should be fine, said thank you and prepared to leave. The female employee suddenly asked us if we had ordered any drinks for a fee. We said no, she wanted to continue, and seemed to want to call the floor phone, but fortunately the man stopped her. When checking out, she said OK, and then she did this again. If we were good at English, we would definitely complain to her!

Fuss free decent hotel with good location. Only bad thing is there is no shelter connecting to any other buildings when it is raining.
