The hotel location was slightly far from the main station which means you need a taxi up down. Facilities are only opened from 9 to 6pm and cleanilness is questionable with flies. Room is ok, spacious but low floor. Hotel has a splendid view of the sea.

The room is large and quiet, with a beautiful view outside the window. It is close to the beach and the train station. The hotel service is very good, and the staff often ask if you are satisfied. The breakfast is rich and more suitable for Chinese tastes than Western food.

The hotel merits the 5 star rating. Excellent all around. Breakfast is worth praising for the selection and quality of the produce. The staff is very attentive to guests' needs and comfort. A word of praise for the assistant floor/reception manager who out of his way to see to it that my stay was pleasant and memorable. Would only advise not to arrange airport pick-up through the hotel. The service will cost more than double that of a regular taxi. Otherwise, and as a seasoned world traveler, I strongly recommend the hotel.

Sorry to say that we do not believe the hotel is up to its 5 star standard. It is a good hotel and the hotel does take care to look after it and make it enjoyable for people staying but if you are expecting 5 star quality it will let you down. In the room, inside the kettle, the coffee cup and the spoon were dirty (these hadn’t had a clean before us arriving), there was an awful sewage smell coming from the drain in the shower so bad that if we didn’t shut the bathroom door ah all times our room smelt revolting (this was room 336) I don’t know if it’s a general thing or just unlucky with the room. It felt like at times staff would favour people who have stayed at the hotel before (regulars) or people who had been staying there for a few days rather than welcoming new people. Finally, to top off our stay here, 5am we needed to leave for the airport, we asked the reception if he would kindly just call us a taxi, he told us this would be a charge of 250 DHR (we already knew this should have been no more than 150), we said no thank you walked into the street and got a taxi for 100 DHR. Very bad

The balcony with a sea view was an absolute highlight. Service: The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. From the moment I checked in until my departure I felt very welcome. Food and drink: The breakfast buffet was extensive and of high quality, with a wide choice of both local and international dishes. The hotel restaurant serves delicious meals, and the room service was fast and efficient. Facilities: The hotel facilities are excellent. The pool and gym are well maintained and provide a great way to relax. The hotel also has meeting rooms and a business center, making it ideal for business meetings. Conclusion: I highly recommend the Barcelo Hotel Tangier to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Tangier. The combination of the excellent location, the luxurious rooms, the great service and the high-quality facilities ensures an unforgettable experience.

This hotel is located on the hill of Tangier. It advertises itself as a five-star hotel, but it felt more like a four-star hotel during my stay, so don't expect too much. The view is great because it's on high ground, but no matter where you go you have to climb a hill on the way back, and even after entering the hotel grounds you still have to climb stairs. The building has a certain charm, but due to extensions and the terrain there are stairs everywhere and it is not barrier-free, so it is recommended for people who are confident in their physical strength. The staff were generally friendly, and the breakfast had a decent variety and was good.

The hotel is not in the city center but at the beach. The room size is very large. The service is good, but the price of the car charter is too expensive, and the euro is paid at the time of settlement, but the Dirham is deliberately changed. Others are fine.

Going at the end of March, the hotel is located in the mountainous area on the outskirts of Tangier, Morocco, and the scenery is relatively good. But because it is Ramadan, there are not many basic guests, and the swimming pool is under maintenance. The buffet for $50 per person is relatively low cost, the food is not much and it is not added, the customer service staff basically does not understand English, and the communication is relatively difficult.
