Avani Gold Coast at Sepang is fantastic! The service staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to help.
Breakfast spread was good. Nabil who was there to help at breakfast did a Teh Tarik for us and it was good!
The beach at low tide was amazing! You can see many small crabs and hermit crabs too! The fireworks show at night was a sight to behold too!

Great Family Getaway with Relaxing Seaside Vibes
We had a wonderful short getaway with the family at this decent and well-maintained hotel. Each room comes with a balcony, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset, feel the refreshing sea breeze, and listen to the soothing sound of the waves—truly relaxing!
The infinity pool is small but offers a lovely view, perfect for unwinding. The seaside is clean, though not suitable for swimming, but our kids had a great time playing in the sand.
We didn’t face any issues with the buggy service—it was efficient and fast, even though others had mentioned delays in earlier reviews. Parking is located a bit far from the hotel, but there’s a 24/7 shuttle service that runs smoothly and made things very convenient.
A special highlight was the free fire show on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 8 PM. It lasts around 30 minutes and was a big hit with the kids!
The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast. The selection was limited, and food wasn’t replenished quickly during peak times. We hope to see better variety and service in the future.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and we’d be happy to return!

Our stay was pleasant and we were lucky with the weather which made our stay more enjoyable. Pity that the sea is not blue therefore we only used the pool. Hotel staff were very helpful and always greeting us.
The food was quite good at Sepoy Sepoy restaurant. Unfortunately we didn’t use the Chinese Restaurant as it was closed on the day that we planned to go there. Breakfast was ok although the distribution of the choices offered needs a little improvement.
If I can advise to stay at AVANI? Yes, it is a nice place to spend a quiet holiday.
To move around , visiting other places like Port Dickson or KL , the drives (Jeff and Zubir) made our journeys very pleasant.

Plenty of spiders (live ones) be it on the beds or sofa cushions. Stains seen on sofa covers, curtains, even on the chairs at the breakfast place! Toilet got clogged on the second day, had to activate housekeeping to clear the waste and fix the plumbing.
Place desperately needs a renovation or revamp to even fit 5 star rating.
Buggy system could have some finessed. No queuing system at the lobby, didnt manage to get the buggy as people just jump line despite technically being behind us. This is comparable to lexus resort where there is a queuing system for their buggy at the lobby.

Overall is good!
A pleasant stay there, there is an excellent fire show during weekend.
Thanks hotel for the birthday decoration.
For breakfast , I saw flies on the food maybe need to solve this problem.
Buggy service from free car park to lobby and lobby to hotel room is consider fast, no long waiting time
