The white exterior of the building is particularly eye-catching. It is very close to the pier and in the center of the town. It is recommended to choose a suite. Although the bed is small, the room facilities are very complete.

Great central location in old part of Tarifa, in a pretty, small plaza. Our double room was beautiful, with a balcony facing the plaza, living room, kitchen and bathroom on the bottom floor, and a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom loft. This had a door leading to a private terrace with table, chairs, and recliners. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything one could need. Our friend's interior room also had a kitchenette, and a great skylight. All the decoration was lovely. Check in was automatic and easy. Highly recommended!

Communication was easy via whatapp, we'd ask if we could leave our bags as we were arriving early but were allowed to check in as the room was ready. You can always tell if somewhere is well run when something goes wrong, the code for our door wasn't working when we tried it before we left. This was resolved within 5 mins and so didn't impact our day at all. Situated in the old town in a lovely square with bars and restaurants, the hotel is ideally placed, but you will need to walk 5mins to get to it as taxis can't get down the tiny lanes. The room is on a split level, the outside space off the bedroom was lovely and we sat outside having lunch, reading and lounging around. The lounge area has a patio door, and there were musicians in the square so it was lovely to listen to during the day and yet it was all really quiet at night. The bed was very comfy and I was worried about the spiral staircase but actually it was a lot wider than others have seen in the past. There was a usable kitchen, and it was good to have a kettle as I don't drink coffee. There are lots of nice restaurants in the area, including a very good vegetarian one and after beefing in Spain for 2 weeks it was good to have some less rich food. It was a lovely relaxing space and there were English TV to watch, which is a bonus when you come home in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location regarding closeness to restaurants, the port and beaches. Unfortunately we weren’t made aware of the night club opposite our room. We were kept awake until 3 am with the noise from the square below. Had we have known about this we wouldn’t have booked this hotel.

What a wonderful place to stay Set in a picturesque little square great location Amelia was very helpful with our booking and helped with our questions about the area Our room was well equipped as good as any 4 Star Hotel lovely shower room and a fantastic rooftop terrace with great views We will definitely stay here again

This is such a wonderful place, perfect for a trip to Tarifa. Staff were excellent, no stress checking in and helpful for the whole stay. Would defo recommend a stay here if you are visiting Tarifa, it’s in the heart of the town and has everything around it you could want.

We have been coming to Tarifa for many years and staying at LA CASA DE LA FAVORITA and staying here for 20/30 days, every year we recommend it to friends who join us in Tarifa. This year we decided to return na, we found a very unpleasant change of management. I would like to point out that last year there was a change of management but we were treated like regular and honest guests. This year I sent a message to book two nights, they didn't answer me and I called advising that we would arrive in the evening around 8.30pm they sent me the information for checking in alone and I had advised them that I would pay in cash the next day with positive respect. The morning after check in we got up early and there was no one at the reception and ok we thought we'll pay later when we return from the beach... in the afternoon when we returned we found the code to enter the room changed with all ours personal effects inside... we called the manager to notify and to say that we were there ready to pay but she wanted the credit card and did not open the room for us saying that it was outside Tarifa. As soon as we said we would call the police they arrived in a second (so it was around the corner) we paid and when we asked for a receipt he made a fuss saying he would give it the next day... it's very serious we didn't call the police because we were on holiday but if they didn't trust us they would have had to come and collect at check in or not accept the cash payment and ask for the credit card immediately and not SEIZE ALL OUR PERSONAL THINGS IN THE ROOM afterwards not even 24 hours after our check in.. and with regular customers for 7 years...but we had to trust her who had pocketed our money and didn't want to give us the receipt...crazy!!! WE WILL NOT BE BACK. BAD NEW MANAGEMENT.
