Gumnut Glen Cabins

This place was perfect for our needs. The location was great and the place was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of space, it was also good to have a reverse cycle to heat or cool the place, which we only needed to use just to cool down before going to bed as the layout with windows provided a lovely cross breeze to have a quiet night's sleep. The hosts were extremely helpful with tips of places to eat and hikes on the lovely Great Keppel Island. Our favourite place to eat was 'Ofishal' for dinner. The kitchen was easy to make breakfast and lunches and was well equipped for our needs. A special thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Had a wonderful few days staying at Gumnut Glen cabins. Beautiful surrounds and close to everything. Wonderful hosts who were always happy to help with anything. The cabins were very clean and comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Great place to stay at Gumnut Glen Cabins, clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent . Short drive to the Yeppoon beach and onsite pool was awesome and the tennis court was also fun for the kids. Cathy and Michael were very helpful hosts

Gumnut Glen was a beautiful and peaceful stay for our family located a short drive from the town centre. The small number of cabins available means that the pool, tennis court and lawn games were almost always solely available. The cabins had everything needed included a little verandah to relax and watch the kids the play on the green grass. Kathy and Micheal were great hosts. Gumnut Glen Cabins will always be our first choice when visiting Yeppoon again.

Enjoyed our stay here with Gumnuts cabins, went with a family w/ young kids. Ideal venue for them, quiet spot away from main road, swimming pool w/ kids section and lawn area with some games for kids. You can use the bbq too. Cabins are nice, open at the ceiling except for bathroom, but clean and everything you need. Two bedrooms, bush behind and around, small lounge room with sofa and TV. The portable electric stove/cooker thing was really slow, and kitchenette not enormous, but you can manage. Good sized fridge/freezer. Maybe bring pre-cooked food is easiest, or takeaway. Owners were nice and helpful, good communication compared with average caravan park. Location is fine, 10mins drive to Rosslyn Bay for Keppel island ferries, and a few mins to Yeppoon lagoon, main waterfront area, shops, supermarkets, etc. Seems slightly pricey a bit more than normal for a cabin, but think it was worth it. Will stay again for sure.

Such a beautiful place. Our cabin was absolutely spotless and the park was so well cared for. We enjoyed tennis and a swim in the pool surrounded by palm trees. Quiet and spacious stay with the family. Kathy was so helpful too. I highly recommend a stay here.
