The level of service we got was amazing. The food was outstanding and the warm welcome we received was first class. The whole team provided a warm and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Holly Bush Inn. Thank you too Lynne and all the team 😊

We chose this slightly eccentric hotel from an internet search of accommodation near Hexham & it proved to be very interesting both from location & facilities, the 1st floor room had interesting features including original doors & coomed ceiling which once you got used to it was fine, the evening meal was excellent & presentation also a bit eccentric, our only grouse was a lack of fresh fruit at breakfast (the offering was “tired”) & our wash basin wouldn’t hold water & was cracked.

Friendly, helpful staff, local knowledge good. Cosy atmosphere with excellent home cooked meals and a fabulous breakfast, do try the Riever pie for something a little different. Accommodation comfortable and quiet. Well placed for access to Kielder Forest and the observatory

Just the very best friendly of places. Lime being is someone's home. Fabulous food drink selection second to none and a team of staff so happy to please. Beds so comfy bathrooms immaculate. Lovely beer garden with views to due for , this was my first visit. I certainly will return .

The pub is a real country pub with a roaring fire which was appreciated as it was freezing outside The staff were very amiable and couldn't do enough for us. The room was nice and comfortable and the food was very nice. We had the Border breakfast which was delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others if they like good old fashioned country fayre

We had a lovely stay at The Holly Bush Inn on New Years Eve. A warm welcome from the friendly staff set the tone for the whole of our stay. Our room was a small double located at the front of the property. I t was really cute and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including quality toiletries. We enjoyed the best cooked breakfast with quality products well cooked. I would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to explore Northumberland.

What an amazing find. We received a really warm welcome at this lovely country pub. They immediately offered an upgrade and we had a beautiful room which was lovely and warm despite it being December. They were unable to offer evening meal but offered suggestions on where to go including the offer of eating a takeaway in the restaurant. Fabulous breakfast all freshly made with local ingredients. Can’t recommend it enough
