Hotel Sym

On the way to the Danube Delta - our yearly autumn trip - we've stopped for the night at the outskirts of Ploiesti to sleep. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you - but for what we're needing it was very good. A decent size parking lot inside the courtyard - so you don't have to park the car on the street - , reception formalities very smooth ( they don't have a 24 hours reception, so you need to call the number that is on the door leading to the reception). Room - spacious enough and clean , and the same can be told about the bathroom - now what you need to do is bring your own items, they've got soap in the bathroom but don't look for other amenities - hot water though was running even at 2 o'clock in the morning - so from that perspective you are covered. Bed was comfortable - though I had to switch rooms with my friends since I got the double beds and they've got the single ... but it was quick ... no problem. We only booked the rooms , no breakfast - however the owner is very friendly so you can arrange that with him if you would like to have breakfast... To sum it all up, if you need a bed to spend the night - you are not looking for luxury - this 3 stars hotel may just be what you were looking for - me it sure has been.
