Shirakabako View Hotel

The facility I wanted to go to was right in front of me, so it was very convenient! The facility looks old, and there were some areas that were worrisome, such as creaking and the lock being difficult to close. Above all, the view from the window of the lake side room is a resort! It was the best feeling to say! (Because it is by the lake, measures against insects indoors and outdoors are a must) Rice is gorgeous! I didn't feel like saying that, but both meals were buffet-style, simple and satisfying with Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. It would have been even better if there was a flat plate and a tray. There are large resort facilities such as playgrounds and museums nearby, but this is definitely the hotel for my family who want to run around freely. I would stay there again.

This was my first time staying this season. At first, I stayed alone, but the room was so spacious that it was a waste for one person. The toilet in the room had neither a heated seat nor a washing function. I saw a shared toilet in the hallway and used that one. The toilet in the large bath was a Japanese-style toilet. I felt like I was staying in a cheap business hotel. It was small for a large bath, there were only a few washing areas, and there was no open-air bath or sauna... I didn't have a good impression. The second time, I stayed with my family and included meals. The toilet was heated and had a washing function, and the hot spring was open, so it was comfortable both morning and night. My wife said that the meals were "one of the better Itoen hotels." Personally, the daikon radish in the oden was delicious. My wife ate a mountain of crab. When I asked her, "Crab in the mountains?" she said, "It's better than a hotel near the sea." The ski drying room was also freezing with just my boots on the first day, but the second time, there were other people's equipment and the stove was on properly.
