Very comfortable room, Warm and extremely clean. Nice hosts and a very good location near town so great for access to all facilities in Taupo. Easy access for wifi. Also surprisingly quiet as units are behind the complex with off road parking provided, Totally recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for one night over King's Birthday weekend. The motel was clean and comfortable and suited us. The owner/manager was most hospitable and accommodating. We would certainly recommend staying here.

Barrington Hotel is a awesome berry and Jacqui where very nice and helpful. the location is perfect and close to the lake. The room was comfortable and quite location. I would stay here agin next time.

While we only had a one night stop the room was spotless, well equipped with very comfortable beds and bedding. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in all respects and provided great accommodation for 3 travellers. We would definitely visit again when in Taupo

we had left Masterton post an event we took part in somewhat tired -and later than intended on Easter Monday travelling with our doggle- small - Had made a decision to stay over in Taupo and break our journey due to tiredness and to catch up with a friend for dinner. Rang our usual motel as thought that as was end of Easter break there would be plenty of accomm available - forgot it was aso the beginning oif school hols.After ringing several motels we knew accepted dogs all full we went on line and the Barrington came up. Rang, they said all doggle rooms were full but what was our dog We explained small well behaved OK we will take your booking so the 3 of us plus dog arrived and could not have been more surprised - Lovely reception lovely hostess beautifull room - small but adequate. Great sleep did our own brekky and left after a havachat with the owners who were also house maids :) Will def be returning to this unique wee motel

Super clean and comfortable. It was great to be able to cast our Netflix and UTube straight to the TV for a great viewing experience. Super friendly. We'll be back. Well placed to be able to walk to the various places of interest, restaurants and cafes.
