Booked the standard lake facing room - excellent view, right next to the lake. Room looks nicer than in pictures … could have been slightly upgraded since. Toilets a little dated but still all good. Requested for a second floor room for greater privacy. Ground floor rooms have direct access straight out to lake, but less privacy as people can walk right pass the rooms. But stairs only, no lift. Also, it would have been good to remind guests to please keep balcony door closed in evening so the midgets and flying insects don’t get in. I learnt the hard way.

Room is clean, tidy and spacious. Nice to have a balcony but it is by the side of road. A private kitchen or kitchenette is not included but there is a large common kitchen in the 2/F. Like most hotels or motels there, there is nobody in the reception counter from 8:40 pm to 10 am next day. Good to have free undercover on-site parking.

The front desk got off work very early, but Ctrip’s order had a problem, and the hotel staff had been helping to coordinate the stay and praised one. It is necessary to criticize the background efficiency of Ctrip, and the hotel will only receive confirmation after a few hours of ordering. There are a lot of accommodation options in Taupo, but this one can still come next time and see many foreigners also live here.

Everything was alright however the room I booked shown on Trip app was a female en-suite room but apparently there’s no female only en-suite room. So may need to clarify for extra confirmation if you mind. Otherwise it’s a good stay

The hotel is close to Lake Taupo and it is very convenient to walk around the lake in the morning. The room is well-equipped for cooking, clean and hygienic, and the Indian waiters are warm and welcoming. But there is a charge for washing clothes.

The location is excellent. I stayed in this hotel before the epidemic. I stayed in a three-bedroom apartment on the first floor that time. It was very good. This time we only booked a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor. The facilities and equipment are a bit old, but the bedding and towels are all new and high-quality. There are pots, bowls, induction cookers, etc., hot water in the spa bath and other facilities are very convenient. Downstairs There are washing machines and dryers available, please note that they are available from 8am to 8pm. There is also a BBQ for guests to use, and it is very convenient to check in and out. The cleaning staff are very friendly, but the front desk staff are not too enthusiastic. The overall experience is not bad. I will stay here again next time I come to Taupo. The landlady is very friendly. The room we booked also has a natural hot spring. However, we are traveling like special forces and have no time to enjoy it. The room is also quite cozy and suitable for families. Taupo is a good place to stay for one more day, and there are still some unplanned spots, which is really nice.
