We were tempted not to write this review as we wanted to keep the secret of this lovely agroturismo to ourselves! Located in the countryside just on the edge of Tavira in the east Algarve we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome and hospitality from Rosaria, Mariana and her sister. Our spacious room with its enormous, comfy bed and little patio was one of just a few others surrounded by landscaped grounds. These included a plunge pool, small swimming pool and a covered outdoor dining area where, weather permitting, breakfast is served. Dinner is also available three evenings a week and these are not to be missed! All our meals, continental breakfasts included, were delicious and were accompanied by wines from the family’s vineyard in northern Portugal. Mariana and Rosaria were very attentive but with a light touch and nothing was too much trouble, equally all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is so peaceful it is an ideal retreat in which to chill and relax for as long as you want. That said there are interesting towns within reasonable distance to visit plus fabulous beaches and excellent nature reserves close at hand. Tavira has lots of excellent restaurants for those evenings when dinner is not provided.

This is a beautiful, authentic place. The family make every effort to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning and tranquil views. The food is healthy and delicious- exceptional breakfast! I recommend a massage - and the fascinating cookery course with Ines. Lots of beautiful spots to relax and eat.

We took the cooking class in this hotel and wish we would have stayed there for our trip. This place was one of the highlights of our trip to the Algarve. The owner is passionate about sustainable farming. She's actively expanding the farm that has been in her family, now, for three generations. It was a small number of students, five. She taught us traditional Portuguese recipes, including fresh seafood cataplanos. At the end of the class, we ate with our new friends on a beautiful terrace next to her bed & breakfast. All of our dinner companions, guests at the B&B, raved about their stay there.

Absolutely amazing place with nice Mediterranean garden, a sweet pool and attentive staff. Had a really nice stay and they prepare every two nights a delicious dinner. Book directly with them because they can help you with everything. Was a pleasure.

L endroit est paradisiaque , une maison et des chambres très confortables aménagées avec beaucoup de goût. C est un lieu imprégné d histoires avec des arbres centenaires . La vue magnifique et une jolie piscine . Nous avons été accueillies très chaleureusement et bien conseillées par rapport aux excursions de la région, resto etc . Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec de très bons produits frais et nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir dîner, c était tout aussi bon dans une atmosphère paisible et chaleureuse. A conseiller sans hésitation , un grand merci !
