As others have mentioned: this very special place has been radically changed (and some would say ruined) by the new management. Cheap, poor quality, "lipstick" level upgrades but a doubling in the price, a tense and hostile vibe, and a hurried, corporate atmosphere. We were told in writing that we could check out at noon (even said so on our parking permit) only to have a pushy staff person come and shout at us while we were soaking that we needed to leave promptly so our room could be cleaned. "We need your keys, now!" My partner and I used to go here every year -- it was a special trip for us and we always looked forward to it on our way to Death Valley. When I returned with a friend after running the Death Valley Marathon last year I felt embarrassed that I'd talked it up -- and by how much we had to pay for one night! Sad to say, but: skip this place.

The updates to the property are ok but the staff is a mess. Every person tells you something different. No longer adults only. Kids are allowed although signs still say no kids. They allow tour groups to come here for hours and take up all the private rooms. Then the rooms have to be cleaned so are unusable. Only 3 of 4 rooms are in use but they kept locking the doors so who knows. Sat was such a waste because there were like 30 people in the main pool draining the water and making them room temp. Be warned because they don’t tell you this or do anything to help, like keep a room for the people staying here. Clearly just for profit resort now.

This place has really gone down hill since it's been under new management. They practically doubled the prices with doing few if any upgrades. They changed the name to make it harder for people to find. The clowns also painted over the cool murals displayed in the picture above. The staff is paranoid and behave like uncaring mindless bureaucrats. It's a shame, this spot used to be great. Make Delights Great Again! Sack these ******.

We had a great time ! The water was perfect, and staff was very nice. Community pool had cool lights on at night. We had fun getting to know the other guests. We missed the on site restaurant this time, but they said it will be back next season. Clean and pleasant.

I did a stop by to see if I liked the place to bring the family. I’ve never been here before. Based on what I saw and some recent unfavorable reviews, I would agree that I won’t be back with the family. The main reason is the response and attitude of the General Manager’s reviews to people that have had problems. His responses are very unprofessional and it’s obvious why this place is failing.

I came a lot in early 2024, "before the big change" of 2024, which I can not confirm if new management or ownership. Not that it matters really. I stayed over new years FYI I talked with Spencer and my experience was positive. He was quiet and soft spoken actually. I even witnessed an interaction between him and another guest who was noting short of crazy. Like seemed to be off her meds crazy. And he was very patient and kind to her. Something certainly changed the last 6 months. But IMHO, for the better. All of the crappy, run down trailers were removed and I saw very nice looking ones for rent on property now. The bathroom I use now has a proper toilet paper dispenser and paper towel dispenser. Before you'd be lucky to have a roll of paper towels on the sink counter, and it would be all wet from sitting on the wet counter. I saw some closed off areas and can only assume that area was being renovated. I saw maintenance guys working on the road just before the office (as you arrive). I only soak in the outdoor pool and spas. Both before and now the water was, and is, clean and clear. No smell of chlorine. The signage states that the pool area is closed Wednesday mornings from midnight to 5 am for cleaning. Supposedly a complete drain and scrub. I can't confirm as I was never up that late. Of course there is more to be done. Timely refills of toilet and paper towels for one. Although garbage was emptied regularly from the bathroom. 5 stars for the new signage that says no smoking in the picnic area! However, that was not being enforced. And for heaven's sake, fix those locks around the pool area. I have small mini strokes everytime I walk thru the propped open doors all with signs that says to keep the gate closed. This place is not a 5 star hotel on the Last Vegas *****. It's beautiful escape in the desert. And for that I give it 5 stars!

We've been coming here for years, and always enjoyed the atmosphere and accommodations. However, we noticed a BIG change in the quality and level of service this time. After checking in and heading to our Bungalow, a skinny woman was cleaning it. She was clearly behind and not enjoying her day. She said that we were not to be allowed in yet and slammed the door on my wife and I. It was very abrupt and extremely rude. We had not said anything other than "hello". We then decided to hit the pool until she was done. We noticed some large issues. One of the private rooms was locked off to guests. No signs stating "out of order", "repairs in progress", it was just locked. One other private pool was not draining correctly and the water was murky. We skipped these rooms and headed to the pool. We noticed right away that the management was not paying attention to the condition or temperature of the pool. Green algae was growing in some of the hot tub portions of the pool and 3 of the hot tubs were colder than the main pool. But one tub was burning hot. Everyone already in the pool warned us of the issues, and we tried to soak for a bit in the hot one, but the temp was close to 110 degrees. We moved to the pool and soaked in the luke warm water. Once in our Bungalow, we noticed all of the dishes and stove were removed. There is hardly any place to purchase food, so we typically bring our own and cook in the Bungalow. We had to make due with some plastic forks and the microwave. The terrible thing is, we paid more for the room this trip than other trips, yet there were fewer amenities. I understand things change, however the service here has been downgraded when compared to previous trips we've enjoyed.

I am so disappointed to hear that this delights hot spring has changed ownership. We have been coming here for the last 5 years. I was making plans to come again in April of this next year and learned that it is no longer adults only and under new management. I'm very sad that we won't be coming here anymore. I can't imagine trying to enjoy ourselves in the hot springs with children, splashing and being loud and fighting for one of the pools. What a bad decision on their part.

I don't know if they changed ownership or what happened here, but it's gone down! Jets in hot tubs were non-functional, temperature way off (too hot), shower area was decrepit, staff was clueless. The good vibe is gone. It used to be so nice; too bad.
