A really friendly and welcoming hotel in the delightful village of Tejada. We were there for three days and Ava in particular was amazingly helpful; when someone knows your names when you first arrive that’s a real sign of attentive customer service. The rooms are clean and there’s a sun terrace to watch the sun come up in the morning. Recommended!

Fantastic view over the mountains. The hotel has a terrace with sun quite late, this was appreciated. Nice staff, good breakfast. The downside is the terrible beds. So uncomfortable, seems the madrasses are old and super hard. If you fancy that kind of bed all is super.

We stayed in one of the appartments, really good with an addictive view. Clean and well prepared. The breakfasts were serviced in the hotel, those were good and with inspiring pleasure served. Thanks! Tejeda is quite, and indeed can be called rural, offering lots of options for hiking etc.

Nice traditional Canarian hotel. The terrace on the second floor offers an amazing view over the rocky landscape and four loungers there make this very comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Quite difficult to find at first because access is from one end of the road only. But then it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the many cafes and restaurants along the main drag.

Rooms have no charm but are very confortable + good beds. Good isolation as well that makes it a very quiet stay (we were on the second floor). Very good breakfast. But don’t expect any warm welcome from the host….and do not go to their restaurant at the other side of the village.

A really lovely little hotel (only 11 rooms) situated in one if not the prettiest village in Gran Canaria. The rooms are simply furnished and spotlessly clean. The hotel has wonderful views out towards the mountains and in particular the sacred mountain of Bentayga. There is limited parking in the small street outside however there is free parking to be found elsewhere in the village. Breakfast is served at the hotel and is continental style with plenty of fresh fruit, eggs meat and breads. However the hotel’s greatest asset is Eva. She runs reception, cleans the rooms and serves breakfast. She has a great sense of humour and will help with any queries you have. She gave us some excellent choices for circular walks nearby. Tejeda is famous for its Almond festival in February however it is also a great base for walking holidays. The hotel has a connection with a local restaurant which is excellent. See separate review.

Fina , n avait pas l air très heureuse de nous accueillir . Les prix ont majoré de la veille au lendemain demain . Nos amis qui n avaient pas de place dans l hôtel ont eu un accueil plus que froid pour leur appartement. La femme de chambre très désagréable Sinon hôtel propre et correct .

Nie wieder! Dieses Hotel sollte nur gebucht werden, wenn man in Tejeda keine andere Unterkunft findet. Extrem kleine und dunkle Zimmer. Kleine Doppelbetten mit unbequemer - viel zu weicher - Matratze. Aber das Schlimmste ist die Fine, die Hoteldirektorin. Sie ist extrem unfreundlich, rechthaberisch und verbreitet so eine echt miese Stimmung. Beim Fruehstueck stresst sie dauernd im Raum herum und weist Gaeste zurecht (unglaublich!) - man fuehlt sich richtig unwohl und ueberhaupt nicht willkommen wenn sie anwesend ist (was praktisch immer der Fall war) und man kann unter diesen Unstaenden nicht zur Ruhe kommen. Der einizge Lichtblick ist die Mitarbeiterin Ava, sie ist echt professionell, zuvorkommend, freundlich und noch dazu sehr lustig. Das Fruehstueck war lecker - mit frischen Fruechten.
