Loved the location. 5 minute walk from Jaffa and the Tiyelet. Good access to buses to central and north Tel Aviv. A gritty, working-class neighborhood but safe and fun. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful shower. Made some use of the communal coffee and tea but no opportunities to interact with other guests. it’s not a luxury hotel, but perfect and comfortable for my needs. There's nothing I didn’t like about it, but it needs some better signage about which doors to use to get to rooms, and that most of your important transactions will be by text or phone. other than that, a perfect stay.

We had a very good experience staying at the JoJo. Great location, comfortable rooms and very accommodating hosts. There is a shared kitchen and lounge with all amenities such as water, ice, coffe or sofas with tv and netflix. JoJo also have an outdoor lounge with smoking area. We were fully satisfied and I will definetly visit again.

Firstly, Jojo’s is quite tricky to find. It’s in a shonky neighbourhood and has a very small sign on the door. You’ll need a map! The styling of the rooms is really the best feature… distressed walls, post modern, glass walled bathrooms, plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. The issue is the ‘self check in’ and all the communication by text message. If you’re not tech savvy, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s also strange that despite all the ‘diy’ elements there are often staff there anyway, so it seems strange to be using text messages when you could just talk to people. Not an experience I’d choose to repeat.

So disappointed. This sounded like a lovely little place for a two night stay in Jaffa with my 19 year old daughter. Sadly, it wasn’t at all as it was sold and I had to take refuge elsewhere on the second night when the walls of my room were literally shaking from the noise of a party in a bar downstairs. To their credit, the management have refunded the cost of the second night in full but have refused to engage on the issues on our first night. I had booked a room with a sofa bed so that my daughter and I would have somewhere comfortable to stay with two separate beds. The room is presented on the website as being suitable for couples or small families, described as ‘superior’ with a ‘balcony’ - no mention that the ‘balcony’ is over bar with a super loud sound system. We arrived late on day one - there were no staff on site to assist. There was one queen size bed and a sofa bed as described but said sofa bed was something of a complicated puzzle that took us around 20 mins to unfold. When we did manage to work it out, there were no sheets for the sofa bed or pillows, just a duvet and a ripped duvet cover. There was no one available to ask and so, whilst my daughter slept in the bed, I tried to sleep on the sofa bed without proper bedding. If I was a student staying in a hostel, I wouldn’t have minded but this wasn’t billed as a hostel and it’s a very long time since I was a student! My daughter was keen to use the shower (fair enough I thought), but even with the shower door closed, the flooding was pretty bad and we had nothing to wipe the water away and still no member of staff in the vicinity to ask for help. The result, a night spent with a water logged bathroom, leaking into the bedroom. Picture sleeping at the bottom of Niagara Falls! (ok maybe not quite that bad). Trying to use the facilities in the dark overnight without waking each other up/ slipping and breaking our necks was a challenge I hadn’t prepared for! When we left the hotel to go out for the day the next morning, I expected the room would be cleaned and the wet towels on the bathroom floor that we had used to try to soak up the flood replaced. They weren’t and there was no sign that the room had been touched at all in our absence. That, the vibrating bedroom, and the (quite sweet) hotel manager who took around 40 mins to get to the hotel at 1030pm and so much more, was enough for me to cut my losses, pack my bag and find a hotel bedroom with sheets, pillows, staff to ask question to, and the all important peace and quiet I craved elsewhere.

I stated here for 2 nights. I was in Tel Aviv to watch football at the nearby Bloomfield Stadium. It was an ideal base for both the football ground and access to the Old Town in Jaffa and beaches in Tel Aviv. I walked from the Tel Aviv Hahagana train station along the Sharma Road which took about 45 minutes. The entrance to the property is quite secluded as its in a residential area. It is on the main street and you'll have to look out for the house numbers. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was small, basic and somewhat unique in design. The shower and toilet were actually in the room itself behind smocked glass panels right next to the bed. I've never stayed in a room like it in all my travels overseas. I was there for 2 nights and ut mentions cleaning but, my room wasn't touched during my stay. My booking was room only. No breakfast was provided but, you did gave access to amenities to make tea, coffee with free biscuits. You could also use the fridge too to put your own items in for consumption. Right next to it was a communal room to sit relax and perhaps watch TV. The accommodation was adequate for my requirements. I was a sole traveller who was in Tel Aviv to watch football. If my wife was with me then, I know she wouldn't have liked the set up at all. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this accommodation especially if you're used to staying in a hotel.

Used this for an overnight stay after late arrival at airport. Perfect for our needs and pity we hadn't booked for longer. Inside is modern and clean with everything you need. Short walk into Jaffa old town. Great location
