This is my first time to experience the Park Hotel. It is very convenient to drive there by navigation. The front desk gets off work at 4 pm. If you arrive in the evening, you can get an envelope in a basket at the front desk, which contains the key and the map of the room. Basically, they are all in one building. You can see the starry sky at night and it is very quiet.
I was arranged a lake view room, which is great. The room is fully equipped.
There are only 3 of us. I booked it temporarily. There are only two bedrooms and one living room. It turned out that there are 5 beds (2 bunk beds) that can sleep 7 people. I was surprised. A single-family villa with pure European and American style.
There are children's facilities in the park, suitable for children and the elderly. There is only one restaurant around, and all foreigners drive here by themselves. The hamburgers are super big.
It is a very beautiful park. It was winter when we went there. If it was summer, you can play water sports.

Stayed in the off season on our drive through to Qld. The staff were very nice, room was well kept. We saw lots of wildlife around the park (kangaroos, rosellas and kookaburras) which our kids loved. It has beautiful views around as well. We stayed in a villa and I was a bit disappointed when we got in the cabin and realised the bunks were not made, with them knowing we were travelling as a group of 4. The floors needed a good vacuum, but overall not a bad place to stay. It was really rainy and the grass was very muddy and boggy, but the staff let us know we could park our car where ever we like because of this. I appreciated the warning The bed was extremely soft if you like that. My kids were really impressed with the blow up stuff on the water and were very sad it wasn't going, I imagine this to be such an amazing place to stay in summer.

Beautiful tranquil setting with lots of open spaces and the Wilsons River on three two sides providing the perfect setting for utilising the aqua equipment which is part of the park. Park residents are unable to use the aqua facilities at certain times as these are booked by groups not staying at the park. But even then there are many other water activities you can enjoy during these times. The only downside for us as campers, was the lack of shade around the campsites. The amenities were okay, but again campers had to share these facilities with groups utilising the aqua park, so at times these facilities could be very crowded, eg. toilets and showers. Because of its location, at night the area was very quiet and peaceful - great for a good night's sleep.

What a find. Good size sites. An older park but well cared for. Staff are great. Nice and quiet especially during the week. Don't miss this one.Pet firendly. Just a 15 minute drive to Port MacQuarie. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Will be back.

What a secret place mid-way between Sydney and Byron Bay. Gratefully the water park was closed, so prices were really reasonable, there were not many cabins taken up, super quiet and just beautiful surroundings uninterrupted by noise. The cabin is so clean and having 2 rooms plus that wonderful double bed bunk is so delightful. Full size fridge and freezer, full kitchen facilities. Excellent communications and they gave us the villa we asked for as well as allowed us to check out an hour later. Just perfect. Nothing at all negative about this place.

This little Gem I found by chance online. It is approximately a 10-15 minute drive to Port Macquarie centre, which was very convenient. Very well priced. It's a quiet spot to stay. Our Cabin was extremely clean with everything we needed for a family of 5. Bed was comfy, sheets crisp and clean. There was an inflatable water obstacle course in a river out front of cabin which would be lots of fun during the warmer months. An excellent experience.

We stayed in the unpowered area for 3 nights. They have a few different unpowered areas. we chose a spot near the dam, was absolutely beautiful! The kids loved the Dam, and the water park area. The water park was a little pricey, but my eldest is 4, so would be worth it for older kids. Amenities were fine, clean, hot water. Staff were friendly and very helpful when we arrived. Will definitely be back! Just be mindful it is about 15min out of town. It is dog friendly, and alot of people dont keep their dogs contained, but cant blame the park for inconsiderate owners, just be mindful if you have a reactive dog.

So much fun for the whole family, my 2 boys (7 and 9) had a total blast while mum and dad mainly laughed at each other trying to climb up on the inflatables!!!! Loved that there are plenty of shaded seated areas and no restrictions on bringing your own shade and lunch if you want. Will definitely be back next time we come to the area.
