GREAT PLACE AMAZING TOURS REALLY NICE PEOPLE HIGHLY RECOMENDED. THE TOURS WERE AMAZING THE FOOD WAS FRESH HEALHTY THE CANOE RIDE WAS GREAT; THE ROOM VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE KARIN DID AN AMAZING JOD MAKIN OUR STAY FANTASTIC IS ONE OF MY FAVORITY TRIPS IN MY LIFE

The place is very nice and surrounded by nature only. The pool is great, there a many different places to hang out around the Lodge and even a big TV and Billard table in the common area. A great place to observe wildlife, many different birds come close to the buildings. Booking a package you have all you need to get to know the Amazon, including day and night hikes, bathing in lagoons and waterfalls, experiencing the river and getting to know the local culture. All starting from the same place you stay and eat. I would have stayed longer if possible.

I really really enjoyed my time here. I had low expectations to be honest, because I thought I wouldn't like the heat and jungle but everything exceeded what I expected! I really loved my time there and I hope to return one day and spend more time. Karin, Roberto and Junior were very very helpful, accomodating and wanted to help. I only have positive things to say and I recommend the lodge for some real experience. It's next to the road where buses pass and the back is on the forest 100%. So you get both worlds in one! I did 2 days tour and I learnt loads. Could have done more, in retrospect, so I hope to return. I had a big room to myself and I really enjoyed the food. It was good quality. Yes it is simple and you don't choose, but I'm guessing you can ask, right? Was not important for me. You need to note that you're going in the jungle and you'll have bugs, dirt etc. The lodge is old of course but so did most of my lodgings in south America. If you want fancy stuff, pay more and/or don't go in the jungle! Besides this is what gives it a more authentic experience in my opinion! As in all of Ecuador, power goes out a few hours in a day so be prepared. Thank you guys for an amazing experience!

Great experience, did the 4 day tour, with fantastic activities, great food and comfortable facilities. Activities included river tubing, jungle walks, and animal tours. Staff were lovely, and helped arrange transport from Quito and to Teña. Our tour guide Junior was funny and knowledgeable of the region and made it a very easy tour to like. Overall very happy with whole experience.

We had a fantastic, comfortable and exhilarating experience in the Amazon at Grand Selva Lodge. Would highly recommend. It was quiet when we were there but the tour guides were lovely and attentive. Great amount of wildlife and hosts were very accommodating.

our time at grand selva was absolutely amazing! communication and organisation was easy and smooth from the beginning. the lodge was beautiful, clean and homely, the food was fantastic, and the experiences were immersive, engaging and unique!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it. There was a transport service and even during our journey there were little stops to explore the fascinating surroundings. The food was great, the rooms were cosy and the price was very reasonable. The guided tours through the jungle were also great and informative. Everyone was taken into consideration and care was always taken to ensure that everyone was comfortable. If we come to Ecuador again, we will definitely come here :)
