For the rate we pay it is a very good B&B. Clean and friendly. A bit too far to walk to the beach

What a glorious stay we had! After a very last minute booking and a 3 minute drive from Tenby, Emily showed us our room and was so attentive! She made sure we were happy and had everything we needed before leaving us to it. The room was just perfect - clean, spacious & just fab for a nights stay (had an iron & safe if needed). Plenty of bedding too. The complementary welsh cakes in the room were a lovely touch, alongside the tea/coffee/still & sparkling water, and the lovely welsh mini toiletries! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Mick was so attentive and lovely, checking in that we had all we needed throughout- a really lovely character. Large portion sizes of the cooked breakfast (or lots of choice if you didn’t fancy this!) and lots to choose from cereal/fresh fruit/yogurt/granola wise- nothing else to say! The bucks fizz was a lovely touch even if neither of us fancied it. We will 100% be back and recommend this place to our family and friends. What a lovely little find!

The good points are the staff in breakfast room are very pleasant and friendly. The building and gardens are beautiful Inside is tastefully decorated for a 250 year old building, but we were quickly told this by reception which doesn't excuse the lack of housekeeping outside certain hours as there was debris on floor by us for ages The breakfast is excellent. The lounge area by a bar is a nice area but could be open longer . Our room..17 was a good size with a big comfy bed. The reason for 3 stars is for the things I felt could easily be remedied. Bar shuts too . Wifi was woeful all our 2 days TV was old fashioned, small with only limited channels and poor sound quality. My partner struggled to climb into the high sided bath to try and shower making it dangerous for her which not something you should be faced with. No real luxury for a boutique b and b There were parking spaces but it wasn't enough as we had to park awkwardly when we got home one night, which we didn't expect. We didn't have a good view from the window. They supplied a fan as the room got very hot but it was noisy. Although we enjoyed our stay, i must say we would not stay there again due to the price for what you get.

On arrival you pull up in car and you see a beautiful building situated in beautiful grounds. As we checked in we were greated with a very warm friendly welcome. As we were taken to our room it was wow this is beautiful. 2 radiators in the room which was lovely and hot especially on a very cold day, bed and pillow's very comfortable. We had a beautiful garden view which was lovely even on a rainy day. Breakfast was complementary and choice of buffet and cooked. The dining room was beautiful, staff very friendly and attentive and the cooked breakfast was deliciously. I would definitely stay here again.

The lounge area by a bar open till 9 is a nice area, too but surely it should be open longer for a hotel??? Our room..17 was a good size with a big comfy bed. The reason for 3 stars is for the things I felt could easily be remedied. Cut price as it doesn't offer hotel facilities. ie Only cream teas for food outside of breakfast. Bar shuts at 9pm Wifi was woeful. TV was old fashioned, small with only limited channels and poor sound quality. We stayed here a couple of weekends ago to celebrate my birthday. We had a lovely time. Our large room overlooked the garden. We had a comfortable bed, huge shower and tea/coffee making facilities. The team also kindly chilled a bottle of champagne we had brought with us. Breakfast is delicious and even includes a bucks fizz. The hotel is a 20 min walk to the town and beach. We did it a couple of times a day. Taxis were difficult to get in the town but the walk was easily do-able and pleasant. The staff are fabulous. Big shout out to Mitch for looking after us on arrival and at breakfast and to Andrea for her accurate weather forecasts. Highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a lovely night on this stunning boutique hotel. The building is 200 years old and has been renovated to the highest standard. There is a drive out front where cars park there is a lovely little pond with goldfish that is so cute. There is a large garden at the rear to enjoy on summer evenings. A lovely orangery to sit and sip a glass of wine or beer from the quaint little bar. Rooms are decorated stylishly with complementary tea, coffee, Welsh cakes and water. The staff are lovely and friendly . The breakfast was beautiful and presented to a very high standard. The dining room is light and airy overlooking the large rear garden. There was also a complimentary bucks fizz offered with breakfast. For us the little things make the biggest difference. It put the big chain hotels right down the list for us. We will definitely stay again
