"It took us about 15 minutes from Yamagata airports to the hotel by a taxi. Located in a cozy area and we could see the mountains covered with snow in the distance (we visited here in January 2024).
All of the facilities are clean and the Japanese garden in the courtyard is very atmospheric.
The hot springs is also very large and clean, and bathing while looking at the snow was an extremely valuable experience.
We took dinner(Yamagata beef sukiyaki) and breakfast here, they were really nice to say at least.
The service was also excellent, absolutely."

"The hotel staff is very nice. The food is so delicious. The room is so big and the decorations are very good. The hot spring facilities are excellent. If you like cats, you will be very pleased to meet the landlord cat . It is a very beautiful cat. It's better to take a taxi to the hotel from Tendo JR station as it needs to take 15 minutes. It's not good to walk if the pavement is covered with snow."

It was easy to move.
There was also a coffee server and a bath, so I was able to spend a very meaningful time. Breakfast was also included, and I was happy to eat Imoni and Tamakonnyaku."

"We had an absolutely an amazing stay in Tedoso. First, the hot spring there is amazing. We had never felt so relaxed in a hot spring before. The hot water and the cold weather is completely in harmony. Second, the service is sooooooo nice. They always welcomed us and out in a lot more effort than they needed to. Third, the environment is astounding. The Japanese style and the room is way beyond our expectations. The hotel is so neat and delicate, which made us feel like we’re in a whole new world. Last, the food is spectacular. We had food ranging from big and juicy pieces of sukiyaki beef to nicely cut and flavored sashimi. Our experience at this hotel is exquisite, and the price is highly reasonable, our family highly recommend you to visit Tendoso and give it a try. I’m sure you and your family would have a remarkable experience."

TTaiwan No 1Although the price of accommodation including one room and two meals is nearly NT$20,000, after personal experience, I really feel that this hotel is worth it...
1. When checking in, a dedicated person will deliver the luggage to the room. Guests can enjoy the beautiful Japanese garden in the lobby on the first floor while drinking coffee/green tea/matcha/drinks carefully prepared by the hotel. At this time, they can feel the hotel's care!
2. You can pre-select a dining time for dinner and breakfast the next day, and you can dine in a small private room with your roommate, and there is a dedicated person to serve you. The meals are exquisite and delicious, and the ingredients are all served in exquisite Japanese small utensils. After experiencing it, I feel that the money spent is worth it...
Third, there are hot spring pools indoors and outdoors, and the hot springs are really flowing in them. The outdoor pools are very Japanese-style. It is a rare life enjoyment to be able to soak in the hot springs in the hot springs on snowy days!
Fourth, there are only 22 rooms in the entire hotel, and the floors are all tatami. The beautiful scenery and good soup really make tourists relax and sigh, what more could they ask for in a husband!

One day I chose Tendo for the hot spring bath. The services and facilities of Tendo Hotel are very good, and the Yamagata beef sukiyaki for dinner is also delicious. The hotel is conveniently located. If you go to Yamagata Prefecture, in addition to the famous Ginzan Hot Spring and Zao, it is also recommended to go to Tendo to relax.

AAnonymous User1. The hotel has a lot of entertainment options, including bartending, roasting marshmallows, etc. in the evening. The atmosphere is very good.
2. Stayed for two nights. Different meals are provided for dinner, and a variety of drinks are provided. Although the content of the breakfast buffet is the same, special soups are prepared for the second day, and I can feel the hotel's attentiveness.
3. There was no refill of drinking water in the room on the second day. I am not sure whether it was only provided once or forgotten; there is only one vending machine in the hotel, but it was sold out during the two days I stayed.
4. There seems to be free soba noodles during certain periods. I didn’t go out specifically to eat them so I’m not sure. Rooms with courtyards also provide a 24-hour bar with drinks, cookies, and fruits.

The sound leak was fine, but there was no one who was noisy until midnight, so there was no problem.
It was in front of tendo station, but I was grateful that the parking lot was free.
There was a convenience store right next door.
