Best Tendo Hotels

"It took us about 15 minutes from Yamagata airports to the hotel by a taxi. Located in a cozy area and we could see the mountains covered with snow in the distance (we visited here in January 2024). All of the facilities are clean and the Japanese garden in the courtyard is very atmospheric. The hot springs is also very large and clean, and bathing while looking at the snow was an extremely valuable experience. We took dinner(Yamagata beef sukiyaki) and breakfast here, they were really nice to say at least. The service was also excellent, absolutely."

If you like cats, you will be very pleased to meet the landlord cat . It is a very beautiful cat. It's better to take a taxi to the hotel from Tendo JR station as it needs to take 15 minutes. It's not good to walk if the pavement is covered with snow."

"Convenient location in tendo City, road station and restaurants are also nearby It was easy to move. There was also a coffee server and a bath, so I was able to spend a very meaningful time. Breakfast was also included, and I was happy to eat Imoni and Tamakonnyaku."

"We had an absolutely an amazing stay in Tedoso. First, the hot spring there is amazing. We had never felt so relaxed in a hot spring before. The hot water and the cold weather is completely in harmony. Second, the service is sooooooo nice. They always welcomed us and out in a lot more effort than they needed to. Third, the environment is astounding. The Japanese style and the room is way beyond our expectations. The hotel is so neat and delicate, which made us feel like we’re in a whole new world. Last, the food is spectacular. We had food ranging from big and juicy pieces of sukiyaki beef to nicely cut and flavored sashimi. Our experience at this hotel is exquisite, and the price is highly reasonable, our family highly recommend you to visit Tendoso and give it a try. I’m sure you and your family would have a remarkable experience."

"This is a lobby lounge where you won't want to leave the hotel after checking in. From afternoon to night, it offers a variety of beers, coffees and drinks; bartending at the bar and roasting marshmallows outdoors at night; and a whole large space. There is a rest area and library, where you can enjoy reading a book and listening to your favorite vinyl records... Finally, the hotel provides a free open-air bath for the first 30 minutes. One is a wooden barrel and the other is Zao Rock, which is highly recommended👍👍👍"
