1. Poor facilities: What you see on the internet is not what you get. 2. Improvised furniture, not even a decent wardrobe. 3. Rusty faucet in the bathroom and a shower curtain that falls every time and is mouldy and dirty. 4. Not the minimum decent standard for hotel, bad electric installations, and no windows in the room. 5. Want to charge your phone? Do ir on the floor. That's where the sockets are. I really struggled to decide to review this place, and I was thinking about the people working there, but even their service doesn't compensate for the disasterous room they gave me. For the price, I ve got a way better hotel in Guadalajara city.

The hotel advertised a room at a good price. It presents pictures of large rooms with spacious accommodations. We paid in advance through a booking service. When we got there they gave us an extremely small room, nothing like the pictures. It was clean and we did get breakfast and secure parking, but the advertising is deceptive. They show a large well equipped room and offer a price. When you agree to those terms they switch you to a very small room. It is so small. There is less than three feet to walk and put luggage on two sides of the bed. You can barely close the door to bathroom when on toilet. There is no screen on the window so you cant keep it open due to mosquitos. Pretty crazy. I asked why the room is so small and they said because of the price I paid. What?? I paid exactly what I agreed to based on the offer, but they didnt deliver what they advertised. Deceptive. On a good note, the staff was polite, parking was secure, and breakfast was included. I enjoyed the rooftop garden. I dont like to give reviews like this but these are the facts.

Exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again if I came back to Tepic. Super cool Mexican boutique feel to the property with tons of outdoor sitting areas and plants to make you feel welcome. Our room had a king size bed and was very comfortable. A/C worked great, wifi was fast enough to download some Netflix for our trip on the departure day. The refrigerator in the room was great to keep waters cold for our trip. The shower had a rainfall shower head with tons of water pressure and hot water (unlike other hotels that I have stayed at recently in Mexico) bath products were nice as well. This hotel is easily walkable to all of downtown historic area. There is also an amazing restaurant, Emiliano, just 3 blocks away. Super clean, friendly staff, and a hearty cooked to order breakfast of Eggs, Chorizo, and Chilaquiles (included in the room price). My only negative was that our room had a window to the street side, and you could hear cars go by at night. When I come back I will ask for a room that is not on the street.

Tenia muchas ganas de hospedarme en Casa Mariano, realmente el único hotel boutique en Tepic, me gustó mucho mi habitación y la terraza está preciosa, relajante y bien localizado, el estacionamiento de fácil acceso y la reservación y recepción muy profesionales y ágiles, hicieron mi estancia placentera, me dió gusto saber que admiten mascotas.

El cuarto # 12 te ofrecen nada mas el box Spring , recomiendo al manejador acostarce una dos horas son los puros resortes ,yo no tengo idea de como permiten rentar estos cuartos se supone que pagas para descanzar ,mi amiga y yo pasamos una noche horrible su cama y la mia estaban de la misma manera ,,esto no se vale se reporto al lobby pero no se veia muy interesada,,

Llegamos la noche del 12, 3 adultos con dos niños chiquitos y la encargada explico vagamente dónde estaba su estacionamiento sin poder decir las calles, solo sabía el color del estacionamiento, ni nombre tenía, y a la primera nos perdimos hasta que otro personal acepto subirse a nuestro coche para indicarnos la ruta! A las 10 de la noche huéspedes que estaban en el pequeño bar hacían ruido y hacia eco en todos los 2 patios, en 2 ocasiones tuve que bajar a pedirles que bajarán las voces, y ni llevaban cubre boca como estaba requerido, y toda la ciudad con restricciones por el omicron! También fui hablar a la recepción que no hicieron caso. La mañana siguiente tuvimos que esperar en el restaurante porque el cocinero no había Sido notificado de que habíamos pagado los desayunos. De lo demás tienen los cuartos muy limpios.
