Hotel Rastelli is in the centre of Tervuren, on a quiet street close to the Market. The hotel is part of a chain of 5 family-owned Flemish hotels and managed as a cash-cow. Built in 2007 the hotel offers 44 rooms over 3 floors. Furnishings and decoration provide a modest atmosphere. Complimentary parking for 20 cars behind the hotel. Service is not more than adequate. We had a spacious top-floor room with a balcony, 2 club-chairs & table, desk & chair, tea & Nescafé facility, bottled water, and TV on the wall. Separated toilet and spacious bathroom with washbasin & shower over the large bath. The bed was OK, but bedlinen, towels, and pillows of the cheapo type. All was clean. We found the €15 buffet breakfast not inviting and skipped it.

The room was comfortable but the lighting is inadequate as it is not possible to read after daylight has faded. The availability of television channels in English is a great improvement. The breakfast continues to be very poor. The "hot" food is warm - the sausages almost cold. The coffee is warm; it should be hot. The orange juice was bad - it was fermenting and I asked for it to be replaced. By 9 o'clock there are very few croissants and pastries. The room cleaning was good.

The room was good, the general staff are nice. The owner however was rude and the breakfast terrible. When asking to cancel the breakfast for the rest of the stay after the first morning, this request was refused. Had another hotel been available we would have moved there immediately, and will not stay here again. Not recommended.

Super kind staff: even if I was late for check-in, they found a solution to let me find my room ready at my arrival. All the rest of the services are good value for money, the location is very centric and it was easy to find parking nearby. Breakfast is limited, but ok.

It's very accesible. Parking is great. The room was fine, but too hot. Cooling down the room was impossible. There's absolutely no ventilation, unless you open the window, but there is no bug screen. We also found our door open when walking in the room for the first time. Breakfast was ok. Good for a one day stay!

There are 2 ladies working there at the reception, one is lovely, helpful, French speaking (younger) and another is Dutch speaking (older), the latter is extremely self entitled and rude. This really affects the whole experience you have with a hotel. Also, for the price, i think there could be a few extra amenities in the room such as a filled mini bar with refreshments you could purchase.

Ideally situated for our visit to family in Sterrebeek. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants plus the park. Good market on a Saturday. Good to have hotel parking. Pleasant staff and welcoming. Room on the third floor meant it was stifling hot with outside temperatures over 20 degrees. No aircon. Just a circular free standing fan. Large bathroom with separate toilet. Shower leaked at head join. Washbasin plug didn’t hold water. Large outside terrace at third floor level welcome but outside further seen better days. Breakfast basic. Coffee in jug poor. Fruit salad mainly apple. Chair legs had no felt so very noisy when moved.

We go to the Rastelli as it is conveniently sited for us. The hotel was very accommodating in that it allowed us to change our reservation dates although we were on the cheap tariff. The room is comfortable although without air conditioning it was very hot at night. Parking at the back of the hotel is good. As usual the breakfast was poor compared to other hotels. The first day we were not asked about beverages and I had to ask the receptionist for coffee when she walked through. The coffee was hot only once - warm on the other days. By 9 a.m. there are very few croissants. The cooked breakfast - sausage, egg and bacon - is warm and unappetising. We do not find breakfast at the Rastelli an enjoyable experience. The receptionist was either very cheerful or miserable depending on which one was on duty. It represents reasonable value for money.
