This is a pension rather than a hotel, in a great location ( you can walk to the Whooper swans on the lake). The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there is a very nice onsen (not mixed). The food was excellent ( we had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners). We got snowed in one morning by a late snowfall, so just enjoyed all the birds and squirrels on the feeders and bird tables, which the owner tops up diligently with food. It's a bit quirky and a bit old-fashioned, but in a nice homely way. Very friendly couple, but very little english spoken We had the upstairs front corner room.

Private lakeside, 5 minutes from Lake Kussharo on the premises. You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise. At night, the sky is full of stars. The bath is a natural hot spring. The source temperature is 70 degrees, which is naturally lowered to 42 degrees. It is a raw, free-flowing product without chlorine, water added, or heating. It is a wonderful hot spring made from baking soda spring. There are major P hotels nearby, but they are just P hotels. It's like a buffet no matter where I go. Mr. Papirio. The owner is also elderly, so although there are 7 rooms, it seems that only 2 or 3 rooms are in use, and due to its popularity, I think it is very difficult to make reservations. I think you need to make a reservation at least one month in advance.
