I've stayed a Marula Cottage Guest Lodge a number of times. Why? Hosts deliver superb service and unrivaled hospitality. Food - complimentary breakfast and optional dinner - is delicious. Accommodation is spotless and includes all requisite contemporary amenities. Setting is tranquil. Wild life enthusiasts will appreciate 10 minute drive to one of South Africa's wonderful national parks.

Monika and Dave were warm and perfect hosts. All information about der lodge and the travel to it which were given in advance were very useful. We felt very comfortable. All our wishes were fulfilled. The lodge offers a marvellous view of the landscape. The food was prepared with skill and love. Jens & Heike

We loved our 2 night stay at Marula Cottage Guest Lodge. Our hosts Monika & Dave were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Just a perfect place to stay if one is going to visit the Marakeli National Park or any other place. The fact that the rate includes a cooked breakfast ~ to your liking ~ is a real bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at Marula Cottage. Monika and Dave gave us a warm welcome and did everything possible to make our holiday perfect. The rooms were very clean, cosy and equipped with everything necessary. The food was simply delicious. Everything fresh and home-made… What a treat! We went on a day-drive with Dave and we had a great day: we enjoyed his company and his incredible knowledge. Respect for nature is central in the house and hearts of Monika and Dave, we cherish the beautiful time we spent with them.

We received the warmest welcome from Monika and Dave when we arrived. Magnificent view from deck and our room. Breakfast and dinner prepared by Monika are must try. Room is clean and comfortable with spacious shower. Dogs are friendly and playful. We enjoy our stay and definitely come back again.

We were warmly welcomed by Monika and Dave and there beautiful rescue dogs. It was peaceful. Dinner and breakfast was amazing, you don't need to go anywhere else. Enjoy a wonderful chat with Monika and Dave and get to know them. Room was clean, shower spacious and have all right amenities to make anyone's stay comfortable.
