All the staff were very helpful . The hotel is beautiful and we had a lovely room with a balcony . `Everywhere spotlessly clean. Would recommend this Hotel as the best we have stayed in. Have been to the restaurant many times but this is the first time we have stayed in the hotel and look forward to the next time.

Our BA flight from Innsbruck was cancelled at the last minute. The last flight of the day so they bussed loads of us to the Gasthof Purner for an overnight stay. I’m so grateful to them for: - clean, large, quiet rooms (in traditional Austrian style) - great late night dinner of Käsespätzle - checking everyone in so efficiently - helping us all book taxis the next morning (BA were useless and no onward travel had been arranged to get replacement flights) So, all in all, they turned what could have been an awful night into a decent extra night of holiday. Thank you guys!

Aside from the location this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are full of mold, in fact the entire second floor smells like mold. The pictures they show on the internet are nothing like the pictures in real life. All the buffet food was either gone or crusty and old or had bugs all in it and flying around it. There is no air condition so in the summer it is unbelievably hot inside and if you want to leave a door or a window open the mosquitoes will eat you alive. This hotel should be reported to a health inspector, not to mention the service is subpar. You can hear everything in your room as the walls are paper-thin and the breakfast staff was as rude as can be. She tried to pick a fight with another guest and myself as we were discussing the very disgusting quality of the food in the breakfast buffet that was actually there. I got locked out of this hotel at 2am and there was no evening staff to answer the phone so no they are not always open like they clsim. I tried to check out after being transferred to two different rioms both infested with mold but the hotel refused to refund my money. It literally made me as well as my dog ill to stay there. And yes those are bugs in the food they serve you which is days old.

After about two years, we wanted to eat at the Purner again for Valentine's Day, which we remembered very well. At first we were a little disappointed that there were no Valentine's Day specials, which is certainly not a must, but when you advertise a candlelight dinner for lovers as one of the annual highlights for Valentine's Day, that raises expectations. The menu itself offers quite a large selection for meat lovers and especially those who like to eat pork. Those who, like us, prefer to eat fish or choose a vegetarian alternative will not necessarily be rewarded with many options. After all, the food is of average quality and looks a bit "old-fashioned" and down-to-earth in style, the portions are certainly generous, but the prices are too high, the service friendly, but also a bit direct in communication. Due to the loss of quality, we will unfortunately no longer choose the Purner.

Durchschnittliches Landgasthaus mit enormen Portionen. Einfallslos Speisekarte. Liebloses Service. Die Lage in der Ortsmitte von Thaur ergibt eine gute Erreichbarkeit. Die Zubereitung der Gerichte ist ok, hat aber noch Luft nach oben.

Es war eine wunderbare Entführung in die traumhafte Welt der Liebe zum Detail und des guten Geschmacks. Der aussergewöhnliche Anspruch der Besitzer sickerte aus allen Ecken durch und regte die eigene Fantasie an. Warm wurde einem ums Herz. Auch die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, des Chefs und das fantastische Essen machen Lust auf nächstes Mal!

Kein 4Sterne Hotel, geeignet für Hochzeiten und Anlässe, nicht für Individualtouristen🤨da ist man nicht viel wert! Höhepunkt: eindringen auf den Balkon morgens 7:40 h um die Geranien zu entfernen, 3 Männer rauchend und laut schwatzend auf dem Balkon, unseres Zimmers, Verletzung der Privatsphäre im höchsten Mass!
