My 7-night stay at The Grace bay suites hotel was a fantastic experience. The cleanliness, friendly staff, and handy amenities made it a place. I’d gladly recommend. The location is great, and they provide everything we needed, including parkin, umbellas and beach towels . Overall, it felt like paradise, and I can’t wait to return.

You know how you want to believe all of the good reviews because the price of the hotel is better than most other places? DONT BELIEVE!! This motel is called the All New Grace Bay Suites. Be suspicious when a business starts out with a lie in their name! Maybe the: Old and Delapidated But Relatively Inexpensive Grace Bay Suites would come closer to the truth. So when the owner responds to these reviews, be suspicious as well. My recommendation: read the 1-3 star reviews and you have a good description of this motel. We just returned about 6 weeks ago and I had to reread the reviews to see where I went wrong...and the 1 -3 stars were accurate and the 4-5 stars were BS. So as not to be repetitive, go look at the 1-3 star reviews and I will add my 2 cents. Pros: great location as it's close to the beach and town (but sometimes noisy and can feel a bit sketchy, not the fault of the hotel.) pool - great, if you have little kids except for maybe the safety issues of the area as there is no security that we saw. Cons: 1. Read the fine print about "free" breakfasts. Breakfast will usually cost 20.00 per person and you get 10.00 off per person. More transparent to say "$10.00 voucher" but there's not a lot of transparency here. 2. Ask for a 1st floor room if you have heavy suitcases as there's no one to help you bring the suit cases up the stairs. 3. Horrible sewage smell in stairway areas. 4. Room did NOT have sheets on one bed and there were no sheets, blankets or pillows in the closet. Even if they don't give you a made-bed despite knowing we were a family of 5, at least they should have an extra set of sheets in the closet. It was 10:45 PM when we discovered it and we went looking for the on property 24 hour person (another untruth) who didn't exist. Needless to say, walking around this property at 10:45 at night felt very unsafe and I promise to the reader that I looked everywhere and there was no 24 hour security!! I'm ashamed to say that I was desperate and even knocked on our neighbors door to ask if they had extra sheets but they did not. Finally I called the emergency number on the front door. No answer. Called 7 more times...no answer. We finally gave up and in the morning I saw that 50 minutes after our last phone call, someone called back. Too little too late. Needless to say my 15 year old son took one for the team and spent the night sitting in a chair. When I asked to speak with the owner the next morning, I was told "he's busy all day." Of course he is! I have since whatsapped him asking for 1/3 back on a room that cost $580.00 and he responded with an offer of 20% credit on our next stay. I turned him down as we will not be coming back and asked him to reconsider but he never returned my messages after that. He clearly only responds when the messages are public. Very frustrating.

Wonderful time at Grace Bay Suites, staff very friendly and helpful, room very clean, extra bath towels upon request. Very comfortable room and beds. Plenty to do right near by, short walk to their own private beach access with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Beach is breathtaking beauty. Many great thanks to “dreamingantstravel “ for the wonderful recommendation to stay here, and for arranging the whole wonderful trip for us , flights and all. What a great deal for the package, highly recommended!! Joseph R.

Arrived 8/1/2024. 1- When I arrived the Hotel this establishment was NOT located on the side of the road. For the price, honestly the place was very shabby and behind a restaurant. This should be made aware to travelers for safety reasons. 2- As I know, stairs are common on the Turks Island, the walkway and laundry room was not appealing and more importantly as a woman at night I did not feel safe. The housekeeping cart was outside the whole night, very unkept. 3- Hotel located next to and in the back of different stores. Please note, the pictures are not as described. Yes it is close to other stores but for the price listed, it’s not appealing. 4- The pool was very very small. Not as shown on the website. Very disappointed. I noticed a man watching 2 ladies and a little girl while in the pool. Very creepy. 5- The welcoming was very bland. No welcome drinks… just bland. Especially for the price. 6- I noticed this place is for a younger crowd. Please note, as a traveler I do not look to discriminate any businesses or establishments but this is not a 4 star establishment. I would not recommend. Too much money for very little aesthetic and comfort. THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW. I am open for any feedback because I am a lawyer. Pick your hotel very wisely. Not all resorts are 4 and 5 stars based on safety and visual concept. 7- This only good think about this hotel is location. Besides that, I define my think it serves more modern renovations.

Rooms clean, but a little tired; there is no on site catering so you are given a voucher for one of 3 local eateries; the food was good in all of them. The pool was always quiet and our ground floor room had a shady terrace. A short walk to the beach where there were plenty of loungers for guests of Grace Bay Suites.

The location is as good as it gets in Grace Bay! There are numerous restaurants in easy walking distance! It’s off Grace Bay Road right behind Danny Buoy’s Sports Bar! It’s not fancy, but the rooms are comfortable and roomy enough. There is beach access only about 5 minutes away. The staff is courteous and friendly and they offer a pool and parking. A breakfast voucher for $20 or $30 off depending on which restaurant you choose is a perk too!

If you're looking for a high-end place to stay, Grace Bay Suites (GBS) is likely not for you; however, if you are looking for a place that is clean, centrally located, reasonably priced (by Turks & Caicos standards), and has good staff, then you may want to consider GBS. The rooms are nice, not top of the line, but nice. The pool is small(ish) and not heated, but that isn't a big deal for the area. They do have bicycles you can use, plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas at the beach, which is about a 5-minute, leisurely walk, away. There are also 2 kayaks (one tandem and one single) you can use at the beach. We had a few minor "issues" with the room, but nothing that really affected our stay. Overall, we were satisfied and happy with our stay. We would consider staying here again if/when we visit Turks & Caicos again.

This was my second time in Turks and it was a far contrast from my first stay. The boutique hotel I stayed at previously was closed for renovations (something this hotel my want to consider). I booked based on the overall positive reviews and was definitely not impressed. I should have believed the negative reviews. I typically travel solo and I"m thankful I wasn't this time. If I was I would have checked out and taken the loss of money. Thankfully I had a friend with me. I just didn't feel comfortable or safe. Check in process was good, the young lady at the desk was pleasant and friendly. However, the hotel was anything but modern. The room I was initially giving had a smell and the mattress had huge stain on it. It was just not what I was use to.I wanted to cry. I ended up going to the beach to try and make the most of it. I contacted Delta who I had booked the room through but I could not get a refund so I was forced to stay. I will say after being contacted by delta/expedia, the hotel did change the room. The new room itself was pleasant and was useful for sleeping and showering but the patio furniture was filthy. We didn't use it. Didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. The last night, we heard someone at our door, end up having to place the furniture by the door to get some sleep. Because of its location, the rooms are easily accessible to everyone. The positives are the location. The beach about 2-3 mins walk. They had towels and lounges. the hotel is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the grocery store. They do also give breakfast vouchers. Overall, the hotel just needs a full renovation. It has potential but this is not a place I would stay again. I would gladly pay more to stay somewhere else and be comfortable.

Grace Bay Suites is in a central location on Grace Bay Road, but is actually a bit hard to find as the signage is not prominent - it’s actually tucked in behind Danny Buoys restaurant and shares parking with the restaurant. It has its own pool, which I was able to make good use of, but it’s a 5 min walk to the Grace Bay beach, where there are dedicated beach chairs for the hotel guests. No restaurant onsite, but the room has a small fridge, and there’s a microwave by the reception. The room itself is spacious, although furnishings are a bit dated - the shower door wouldn’t close, and bed mattress was too high, felt like I was climbing into bed every nite. The hotel stay comes with a breakfast voucher for one of the 3 nearby restaurants (Shay Café, Lemon2Go, Island Scoop). We went to Shay Café every day as it has an extensive menu (voucher is for $10 pp and comes with a small coffee or tea). Food at Shay Café was delish and it was a great start to the day. Also, note that there are 3 floors with no elevators, so if you have lots of luggage or have trouble with stairs, request a ground floor. Overall, a good stay.
