"I have lived for 9 days and I have a good night's sleep. Of course, I am not a picky person. There is a running water design in the yard, probably from 7 am to dark, the sound feels like a river, the first day is a little uncomfortable. The room type is a suite in two rooms. The doors open from the corridor are the doors of the two rooms. Therefore, the sound insulation is almost the same. Occasionally, the voice of the neighbors can be heard. Two days in the morning, the sound of another door is awakened. . I saw a small strong on the balcony. I thought about it, I used paper to throw it. Good location, climbing to the cathedral, there are few tourists, you can quietly experience the culture of Christ, down the mountain to the sea stall; the other side is the civic center, there are art galleries and museums. There is a variety of cuisine throughout the street, including a lady's favorite chocolate drink shop."
"Great location, easy remote operated check in service.
Communal area presented well. The lift worked to go upwards from ground to level one, but it wasn’t functioning when we left (downwards function from level one to ground).
Room 1 - upon entering had a horrible dirty shoe smell. It has a major shower drainage problem where the fall of the shower floor runs into the room, possibly over time water on the carpet is causing the constant smell.
The hand basin drain was also blocked.
The renovation was modern, however the wear and tear is now evident. Could do with a bond clean and some maintenance. The ratings could improve easily if maintenance and cleanliness were addressed because the service and location are great."
"When we made our booking, the website stated that breakfast would cost $25 per adult and would be free for children. However, upon arrival, we were told that the price had increased to $35 per adult, and that children would now be charged half price — without any prior notice of this change on the website.
Additionally, the parking fee of $50 per night was not mentioned at the time of booking, and the car park was full when we arrived.
There were also some basic amenities missing in the room, such as napkins, plates, and cutlery, which we expected to be provided."
"What I loved about the Lucky Hotel was plentiful.
The staff were great. The location was central to everything. The best cookie shop in the World is next door. Happy hour every night from 5-7pm. House wines and beers $6. Each room had a lovely touch of different quotes. The interior of the hotel is very well done with some quirky touches and their chili margaritas were delicious.
Will very happily stay there again when I am in Newcastle."
"The room is very good, I like it very much
Facilities: There is a bathtub, which is very good overall, the coffee machine and bar are also easy to use, the snacks in the refrigerator are also reasonably priced, similar to those sold outside, you can rest assured to buy
Hygiene: Very good, the auntie cleaned it very cleanly, I like it overall"
"It's an older motel, the sanitation, environment and service are pretty good, but there is no elevator which is a bit troublesome. The highest floor is the third floor, and you have to carry your luggage up there by yourself. But if you need it, you can ask the waiter for help."

"This hotel, I decided not to live. Because in the first day of Manly I set up a family hostel, the family could not live. So I went straight to Newcastle's Oriental Hotel (because it looks almost the same). So the comment will give you a medium."
"Great stay at Rydges Newcastle. Awesome location on the harbour. Close to beaches and with ample dining options right on your doorstep.
The only let down was the buffet breakfast. Not a great selection of food, and the staff were totally overwhelmed with the breakfast crowd. Food was very slow to come from the egg station and tables were left unclean."
