The place is beautifully appointed and is tucked away. Waking up to bird song is one of the best memories about this place. Food is good and the staff especially Girish, make you feel very much at home. The only minus is that if it has rained make sure you watch out for leeches when you walk outside. I got bitten by five of them little critters but that was well worth the experience of being amidst nature. I would certainly visit again ( with salt and Dettol at hand if I want to go out walking in the rain)

We spent our honeymoon here on a 3 day Ayurvedic rejuvenation package and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were hospitable and very attentive to our needs. For example, they insisted that they couldn't serve cold food to us and so when we were a little bit bit late to dinner they remade our curries for us. Special thanks to Girish for excellent service and food recommendations. The spa was phenomenal and the ayurvedic package was very comprehensive. Our yogamaster Suresh was also an excellent teacher and offered helpful feedback. The staff took wellness very seriously whether it was in regards to our diet, our treatment, or our general resort experience. Everyone from housekeeping, laundry, food services and spa to the concierge and the manager were extremely hospitable. We are very sad to leave and left feeling rejuvenated.

I spent 9 days in Niraamaya Cardamom Club and had a perfect experience. The resort is in the middle of the jungle and « small » sized which makes you feel almost like you’re alone. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for peace and rest. Our room was perfect with a balcony looking on the mountains. You hear only the sounds of birds and the surroundings are breathtaking. We took the Ayurveda package, we had 90 mn of Ayurveda treatment everyday with a one hour yoga class and food included. The treatments were perfect, the spa is cozy and the personnel is at your service to organize everything so it suits you the best. A special mention to Santosh, our yoga instructor and masseur and all the staff that were just adorable. I recommend this place a 100%. I have travelled to many places and this place is definitely special.

Excellent for: Staff Service Food Character & Style Amazing cabin in the forest Yoga Spa BUT They want to appeal to the Western market and charge western prices. They will need to match western expectations. So they need to get better at the concierge service - facilitating tours and promoting services. Their spa menu doesn't explain what the treatments are. And they need to start serving beer and wine! There's no Bar!

Excellent location, great design of the rooms and the beautifully landscaped gardens. The attention to detail was visible from the moment we arrived after a long 4 hours drive greeted with smiling attentive staff, garlands and fresh coconut juice. The reception and restaurant staff were amazing and nothing could be too much to ask. They made sure that our 3 nights stay was a memorable one. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Niraamaya Retreats Cardamom Club, Thekkady is one of the best jungle properties I have stayed in. From the spectacular views to the cozy cottages, everything was splendid. The staff here are top of the tier hospitable. The delicious food served here at their restaurant made for the complete heartwarming experience. Would definitely love to visit here again !

Niraamaya's beauty : It was our 3rd trip to Thekkady..Stayed in Niraamaya for 02 days with family.Our room was Mountain view category and it's wooden cottage .That was a great experience. The garden, greenery ,and atmosphere of the resort was very beautiful . It's a well maintained resort.All the staff members are friendly and professional. Especially Mr.Ansar, he gave us a perfect itinerary about Thekkady..Thank you Ansar and all the staff members for your great hospitality. We will visit again

The very best resort in Thekkady and near too.!! Very well maintained and premium Rooms and fantastic views.!! Staff are very kind and professional.!!! Food tastes amazing but slightly costly.!! We went with family and it was nice experience !!
