We stayed there 2 nights as part of a tour package. We paid extra for a 4 star hotel, but didn’t think Metropolitan quite measures up. The location isn’t bad, close to inexpensive restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery store, about 1.5 miles from White tower. The room was quiet even with the balcony door open for fresh air. The spartan minimalist design includes bare laminate floors, single pillow per bed, low lighting, plastic chairs. Reminded us of staying in a monastery. Breakfast was good. We were the only people in the dining room one morning.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. I left my phone in our room on checkout. Only realised when we were at the airport. They were so kind at the hotel as they sent the phone to the airport by a courier for me. I cannot thank them enough.

Our visit to see our niece in Thessaloniki provided a great experience at the Metropolitan. The staff was wonderful, insightful and very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet and the complimentary breakfast was excellent with a variety for every palette!

We picked this hotel because our daughter had been staying here while studying abroad. It was a good choice though. We had a rental car, and managed to get free parking right outside the main door for the two nights we stayed. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The elevators were on the smaller side, but large enough to get our luggage in and out. We took the stairs usually, which were open, well lit, and easily accessible.

My daughter has been staying here during her study abroad so it made sense to stay here as well to be closer to her. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are very hard so not the greatest for the side sleepers but I strongly suggest getting the suite. The beds are softer and the room is so spacious. Great for longer stays. Bus stop right outside the door and a 5 min walk to the boardwalk to watch amazing sunsets or go for a stroll. So glad we stayed here, really was a great location for our needs. The cleaning ladies are the sweetest ladies and very accommodating.

Hotel in a strategic position. Very close to the nerve center of Thessaloniki. The room was quite comfortable. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, there was dust everywhere. The big negative was the presence of an entire youth sports team who created unique chaos all the time. Nobody scolded them. I don't think it's right to host these types of guests during peak tourist season. The breakfast was very plentiful and well served. Overall it was decent.

Pretty room with pleasant bathroom (walk-in shower). Very quiet (room overlooking the back). Varied and quality breakfast. Very nice home. A little out of the way for dinner. But close to the seaside, and city center accessible by bus.

Very beautiful and clean room. Completely renovated space. Very good service. On the downside, the poor sound insulation and the absence of a double bed (2 beds joined, with a gap between, no sponge).
