My stay at Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra, Kovalam was nothing short of exceptional. Hidden gem. Great relaxing ambience. For people who seek inner happiness and calmness. Great view of sea and harbour. Great landscaping. Good food and very nice staffs. Select sea facing cottages if available for best experience. Have access to the beach

Good experience overall. Family cottage was good. Did not use pool due to .....Food is excellent especially the mutton curry and fish. Yoga Class early morning by Unni is a big bonus.

It I was such a beautiful stay .. Gave a complete reset for us . The ayurvedic therapht was worth every penny . The doctor and the therapist were very kind . Shout out to Mr.Unni for being so patient and teaching us yoga and meditation . The food was also delicious and top quality Spend 4 days this time but I plan to stay for min 7 days in near future .

Very nice experience and comfortable stay..did good yoga in the morning, enjoyed the beach and the sound of waves was really relaxing, also cardio in the gym was nice with the sea breeze

All the people at the Niraamaya retreat were exceptionally warm and welcoming. It felt like home being there. The experience at the spa and daily morning yoga sessions with guru ji was very energising and healing and helped me reset my mind and think calmly. The place and people did wonders for me mentally and physically. Hoping to visit again soon! Thank you so much for the amazing experience

We stayed in this retreat with a sea view room and I must say it's the most beautiful and gorgeous view. On arrival the ritual of welcoming the guests by the staff makes you feel so special. Everything is so natural and well maintained. Staff are so respectful and quick to attend to your needs. It has its own private beach. The restaurant inside the resort is awesome with delicious food and have a great view. If you want something to be made outside the menu, staff is always helpful to provide it for you. They customize the food accordingly. They go to great lengths, to provide you what you want. The only one drawback in the room we stayed is the open to sky bathroom. In normal weather it's great but when it rains, it's a mess in the bathroom. The floor gets all wet which I am not a fan of personally. If you are a nature lover, want great view and the best staff then go to Niraamaya Surya Samudra retreat!! But overall I will give 4.5 out of 5 rating.(I wish I could give 5 star rating, but open to sky restroom was a little bummer because of heavy rains when we went) One of the best resorts or hotels that I stayed at and I would always choose this whenever I go to this place.

Rooms have an authentic feel to them with high ceilings, frame beds with netting and windows. The open to air bathrooms were a novel experience. The views were to die for. Food and hospitality were great. Has a semi private beach that I enjoyed. Overall worth visiting and I'm planning to visit again.
